“We Will Return”

My husband and I stayed for four nights at this lovely B&B and felt like family. Chole & Jacques were welcoming, caring, and gracious. I am a hard person to feed due to my gluten allergy. Chole and Jacques made sure before I even arrived that I would be taken care of and I was. There was plenty of wonderful food for me at breakfast and the chef for the evening dinner was accommodating as well. Dinner does include wine & it was so much fun spending time at the table getting to know all the other guests. The rooms are very clean and well presented, the grounds are beautiful, and the old olive tree in the court yard impressive. My husband & I got a flu the last day of our stay in Provence and Chole & Jacques called us a Doctor and we were seen within hours by a lovely "family" doctor, who took great care of us. Thank you Chole & Jacques for all your hospitality! P.S. The travel books are inspiring.

We had a lovely stay with Chloe at Apres la Sieste, the room fun, breakfast and the dinner wonderful and a superb location for visiting places like Uzes. The village of St Laurent Des Arbres is really lovely.
The only questioning comment I have is that the gardens and pool areas are either left as they are for art's sake or green consideration or the owners are tired as the pool surround is dingy, the back garden a mess and such things like the beer and wine fridge is in the Pool Pump room. The WIFI is only in the garden and eating ares but not in the bedrooms which I found irritating. But I cannot say anything negative about our stay as Chloe was a star. One night we had dinner in house, they only do this when the place is nearly full, 8 minimum, wonderful evening.

Many thanks for your stay. We really appreciated your compagny and we are so happy that you have a nice time in our home.
About the garden, we chose a natural style with only romantic flowers. Now, in september there is fewer flowers, but we love it. For the back garden , this is a private place that you don't see if you don't go and we have no time to work this garden, we prefere work in the guest garden's.
We are sorry for the strong wind during your stay. This is why the poll stayed with the cover (heated water but nobody was motived for a swim) and leaf trees flyed everywhere. You can't see the pool area when you are at home.
For the fridge, this is fresh drinks for people at the pool. For the aperitif, you remember that we offer one or two glasses of nice wine every evening.
Thanks again for your stay at home.
Take Care. Jacques and Chloé

My husband and I recently stayed at this place. It is truly gorgeous, like something out of an interior design magazine. The rooms are all pale, white-washed, soft linen, mod-cons, generously proportioned and beautifully laid out. The garden is beautiful with a stunning pool and seats under the grapevine to relax. The breakfast was also brilliant, lots of choice from fresh fruit, to cereals, breads, home-made jams, eggs and pancakes. And the hosts are warm and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this place more!

My husband and I recently stayed at Apres La Sieste for 3 nights. We used this place as a base to tour parts of Provence. Chloe and Jacques were very welcoming. The place is just gorgeous, inside and outside. The rooms are very clean , well decorated and comfortable. Chloe and Jacques were very helpful with advise regarding touring the area.
The breakfast was excellent. The best part were the coconut pancakes.

We'd return here without hesitations.

We stayed at Après la Sieste for 3 nights and used it as a base for cycling trips in the area. The facility is absolutely charming, uniquely designed with Chloe's artistic touches and Jacques' architectural creativity. The chambres have private entry off the courtyard, with interior designs that combine modern functionality with a bit of the medieval. Breakfast, weather permitting, is served outdoors in their lovely garden, and typically comprise French breads, yogurts, fruits and nuts, and Jacques' pancakes and eggs all of which make for a scrumptious start of the day. The B&B is well situated for easy trips by car to Avignon, San Rémy, Arles, Uzés, Les Baux, Tavel, and other popular towns in the Provence. My wife and I wanted to go on 40-50 km cycling trips to explore Provence, and each morning Jacques prepared a special map for our cycle excursion pointing out bike friendly roads, great destinations, and round trips that brought you back to the la Sieste in the late afternoon. Our only suggestion is that, while there is ample seating outside the rooms, Chloe and Jacques consider adding a bit of additional furnishings to the rooms. Overall, we think it is a great place and would definitely stay there on our return to the region.

Room Tip: They all open to the courtyard so it really depends on your individual needs.

We stayed at Apres La Sieste for three soothing nights in May/June. Chloe and Jacques have created a restful haven with great attention to detail. The rooms open onto a central courtyard with scattered tables, white flowering vines creating a verandah with a lovely old olive tree in the middle. Breakfast was a treat - fresh bread from the nearby boulangerie, homemade jams, melon, ham and of course Chloe's delicious coconut milk pancakes. We were also lucky enough to be there for one of the dinners - which was sublime (seared tuna followed by duck and finally panacotta). Everything felt stylishly relaxed and we really enjoyed talking to Chloe about her and Jacques' travels with daughter Noa.

We stayed 3 nights in the gesthouse “Après la sieste” and enjoyed everything. The owners are lovely, kind and take care about you.
The place is wonderfully decorated. The wildflowers field along the patio brings an romantic atmosphere.

We suggest you to go to the community events on Thursday and Sunday evenings, where a Chef comes to cook for you. The evening starts with an aperitif on the patio followed by an excellent meal. We really had a great time.

We would definitely recommend the address to our friends
