We were visiting Provence on our trip to France last month, and in a duration of 5 days that we stayed in a small town (or rather village) named Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres, which we have chosen to its close proximity to Avignon, we visited this beautiful seafood restaurant twice! I can't imagine we would find or even consider this restaurant if not for our hosts, Alberic and Som from the wonderful Mas De La Traille B&B close by, who recommended us this small oasis in a middle of Provence area.
Now, let me tell you what you should order in this restaurant. I'm sure, from other reviews for this restaurant, if you're a meat lover, you would be able to find delicious entrees for yourself, but let's be honest - this restaurant specializes on its seafood and fish entrees, and therefore you should stick to it. And you won't regret. Both times we ate in this restaurant, the seafood and fish selections were fantastic. Bouillabaisse was the best fish stew I ever have had in my life. Shrimps, mussels and variety of fish to choose from are great too. And the multi-level tart with raspberry for desert is something to die for. Service was great too, but maybe a little bit difficult for those who don't speak French. The stuff doesn't speak English (not a word), so keep it in mind when planning your dinner in this restaurant. Also, booking in advance is also recommended, but not mandatory - the restaurant isn't in the central touristic area, so walk-ins are accepted.
