Chateau Beaupre Deleuze
Reviewed November 5, 2011

I came with my boyfriend in Chateau Beaupre Deleuze near Avignon, it's a really magic place, full of charms. Florence & Marc, the managers are very kinds.
We visited Pont du Gard, theatre d'Orange and cite des papes Avignon, it was great !!!
Very quiet place, i think i will come back with my family.
Think you for all.

This is the second time we have been to the Chateau Beaupré, and it is completely unchanged.. The castle itself is very welcoming, and the rooms are all decorated with taste. You immediately get the feel that the owners have travelled the world, and have really invested themselves into restoring the Chateau, keeping the natural charm intact.

The manager was very nice, and very discreet as well. We were looking for complete relaxation during the day and nice dining in the evenings, and she advised us perfectly on the dining part.

For relaxation, this is the ultimate oasis of peace... The garden, or should I say park (?) is huge - so even when the Chateau is fully booked, there is always a spot you can pick out to relax, without being in earshot of other visitors.

The only point I could pick out as not so good is that the pool is quite shallow, so if you count on really swimming, you might end up frustrated.
We were actually fine with it, as we had no intention of working out, and were quite happy to splash about for a few minutes, just to cool off, and then get back to reading under the shade of one of the trees !

All in all, a fabulous "week-end en amoureux" !

it is the second time we come to this marvellous place and we were always extremely pleased by our experince at the Château. The last time we had to go back home my children were even crying and begging us to stay here, asking why we could not install us definitively in Southern France. So, it must have been a positive experience... Children do often say the truth as far as I know!
We have already booked one of the appartments for next year !

We are a young couple who stayed here for one night only on a weekend get away from monaco. The previous night we stayed at Domaine du Moulin about 200 yards away. Chateau Beaupre Deleuze is simply stunning, with well kept stone work and original features. Our room, and indeed most of the others, have been decorated recently and furnished with contemporary coverings and touches. The beds were modern and the bathrooms immaculate. We were welcomed by the guardian who was actually waiting for us in the driveway, the open fire was lit in the very inviting lounge and an extra heater had been warming up our room. The grounds were well kept and we were made to feel very welcome. On asking for a tour we were shown around numerous lovely rooms and three of their individual apartments for a varying number of guests. They were all lovely and would recommend them to anyone. If you are the kind of couple who enjoys tradition with modern creature comforts this is definitely the place for you. Our only real criticism is the drive way/entrance which is not enclosed and gives the first impression of it not being properly cared for, as soon as you get closer though you will change your mind. We would like to return to one of the apartments in the summer. For our tastes we would return to this one over Domaine du Moulin.

We stayed in Chateau Beaupre Deleuze just for one night. We were travelling north to our holidays in the Alps and chose this hotel to stop and relaxe in the middle of our trip.
The experience was wonderful, much more than we expected from the hotel webpage.
We travelled with our 2 girls and had La Tour appartment. Two rooms, quite a big lounge and a kitchen.
We were more than pleased, quiet and beautifull place, full of personality.
The hotel was an oasis, the setting beautiful and serene. It was our first day in holidays and we enjoyed every minute. I remember our breakfast in a perfectly set table in the lawns under the sun of a glorius summer morning.
The owner and the staff were welcoming, warm and attentive. I can't understand the review written by the contributor from Berlin because I can honestly say that it was one of the nicest hotels that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I do not usually write reviews but I felt compelled to do so because of this bad and undeserved critic.

Chateau Beaupre is a lovely chateau located in the south of France, about a 15 minute drive outside of Avignon. We've stayed at this B&B twice. The first time we stayed we were in the apartment in the converted barn. The decor was amazing, extremley modern, comfortable and very clean. The second time we stayed we were in the main house, the room we stayed in was more traditional but still lovely and very clean. The Chateau is run by a mother and daughter who speak English very well, they're extremely accomodating and very helpful in making reccomendations for restaurants and places to visit. They dont provide evening meals but they do provide a lovely breakfast in the mornings.
The grounds are as beautiful as the main house and they have a small swimming pool on the lawn.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
