Found this restaurant on tripadvisor when visiting Cangas De Onis.
To be honest if it wasn't for this site I would not have found it, it is tucked away in a corner of a sideria.
Spoke to the waiter and he made some recommendations which we followed. The Food was excellent and the cider good. It is a bit spit and sawdust but that adds to the appeal.
I would eat there again and would recommend a visit, it is reasonable priced too, approximately €25 including three bottles of cider. A good night out.

This sidreria was recommended by a ranger at the Picos de Europa office in town. We put ourselves in the hands of the young man who served us. Wow! Great food and an enthusiastic, outgoing guide to the local cuisine. When thanked for his kind attention, his was reply, "But ... this is what I do." Two large bottles sideria, two raciones & two espressos were 20 euros.

Set on an old cider cellar this is a great place to experience tradition. Locals mix with tourists to enjoy cider and tapas. Definitely a recommendable experience both for the eyes and the taste buds.

Describing the ambiance in El Polesu is quite impossible, one must experience it. The restaurant used to be a "sidreria", the air is impregnated by this spirit and smell.
The young guy that served us was spectacular, easily the best service I ever get in Spain, and I travel a lot in Spain. Full of energy, enthusiastic, great recomendations and always a smile.
The food is delicious, well prepared and one can notice the quality of the ingredients.
4 dishes, desserts, starters and a bottle of "sidra" and the bill was less than 30 euros.

The tapas here are excellent: great meat stew, perfect calamari and pungent Asturian blue cheese. Friendly service and the ever-present cider complete a very pleasant evening. While other restaurants and siderias had plenty of empty tables, there was a queue here: sure evidence of its reputation.
