Experience was so amazing, we were compelled to return 3 nights in a row. We ordered Beyos cheese with quince jam and chorizos in fried maize pancakes to start. This was DELICIOUS. Hake was genius, squid was phenomenal. Dessert included an apple cream dish topped with caramelized sugar (brilliant). If all this wasn't enough, our servers (Angel and Silvia) showed us hospitality unmatched by any previous restaurant experience in any country, ever. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. If eating out was always this good, we might never want to dine at home again. 11 out of ten!!! (p.s. my wife LOVED the organic mixed salad)

Visited here in June 2012 and made most welcome by the waitress who is the daughter of the chef. Her English was excellent and they also had a version of the menue in English. The food was fantasticly cooked local produce. We also met one of her brothers who also had excellent English. Value for money is fantastic and by the time we left we felt like we had been family friends for years.

This place is simply awesome. The food is incredible, and I was born here, so I know the difference between good and bad local food. The price is even better, for 30€ each you can get appetizers, main course, dessert, coffee and wine (depending on the wine you order obviously. Ask the owner for a recommendation if you hesitate).
If you are travelling with infants, this is the only restaurant I have been to in Asturias that has an independent family bathroom. Also, it is very spacious, so you have plenty of room for the stroller beside the table without disturbing the service.
Do not miss the crispy cabrales with hazelnut appetizer!

Many interesting menu choices and very nice ambience (white linen tablecloths and tables spacing conducive to fairly private conversation). The warm octopus salad (€9) looked like it was prepared in a circular mold - upon poking it apart with knife/fork we could see that it was layered with greens on the bottom and slices of boiled potato on top with small chunks of grilled octopus dispersed throughout - the ingredients worked well together making for a most delicious salad that was enough for 2 to share. The steak pieces with Cabrales cheese sauce (€13) turned out to be scallops of veal covered with a thick sauce that made the dish very good - the veal w/o the sauce had little flavor - the richness of the cheese sauce made the dish ample for 2 to share. A cheese plate and glass of PX for dessert made for a most satisfying meal.
