We ate at Mama Chow last night with friends celebrating my husbands 70th Birthday.
There were six of us and having been greeted by Angelina sat down to enjoy one of the best meals I have had in France...We started with crispy Duck in Pancakes and Ribs that were so succulent. Main courses of Sweet and Sour Prawns, Beef in Black Bean Sauce, Chicken and Cashew and 3 others were all mouthwatering. As others have said in reviews this is where to eat Chinese food at its very best, all at affordable prices.
The House Rose was delicious and the Cafe Gourmand to finish with was suberb...
A faultless meal in a lovely setting that all of us would highly recommend.. So when you are a bit fed up with Confit of Duck or Cassoulet then this is where to head to..Do book though as she gets understandably busy, and people were being sadly turned away or having to order takeaway.!!

My wife and I went out for a meal at Mama Chow's last Friday evening and what a fantastic decision it turned out to be.

The service, atmosphere and food were all fantastic. Angelina made us very welcome and we had a perfect evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and I look forward to coming back another time to sample more delights from their menu.

This really is a very good Chinese restaurant. So good in fact that we ate here twice during our stay in Eymet. We tried two of the three set meals on the menu and to be honest this is some of the best Chinese food we have eaten outside of Hong Kong. All fresh, all tasty and plentiful in quantity. The welcome you receive either in French or English is outstanding and the service is personal and efficient .The house red is also a real treat. The restaurant also appears to do a brisk trade in take away food and all the customers seemed to be greeted as old friends. All credit to the owners who have creted this business from scratch and who are making such a great job of it.No hesitation in recommending this-it is brilliant.

We revisited Mama Chow again a couple of weeks ago and decided that we would like some spicy Sezchuan food. The wine to accompany this was Alsatian which worked really well

Cherie had medium and I had hot (which it really was) so tell Angelina how spicy you really like it

My wife visited this small but charming Chinese restaurant in Eymet and suggested we should visit together.

Angelina greets you warmly in French or English depending on your preference. The offer of a traditional rice wine aperitif is unusual and good. The food is cooked fresh and the flavours are all clear and special. Accompanied by a Torrontes wine from Agentina the whole meal was very good and also good value
