We live in the Dordogne and when we are in the area, the Kismet is always our stopping off point for either a coffee and all sorts of different cakes (even delicious toasted scones) or a more leisurely lunch which is served for most of the day. The food is of high quality, extremely innovative, excellently presented. It suits both the English and French palette and the friendly staff are quick to pick up on your needs. It rates 100% for cleanliness and the food is served fresh and wholesome. You can eat inside or out, wistfully gazing on possibly Aquitane's most special bastide square. For those of us brought up on English village or small town cafés, it is simply the best for miles and miles around..
