“Great little gem for lunch in a charming medieval square”
Reviewed December 7, 2011

We happened across this charming little cafe just south of Bergerac. It has a simple menu of homemade soups and light meals. It is right on a beautiful little medieval square with beamed buildings and covered collonades. Great place to stop for lunch.

“Well- cooked food in English-run restaurant in pretty square.”
Reviewed November 6, 2011

Good, quick lunch, well-cooked from large choice in cosy café-type place in Eymet's main square. Good value, nice ambience, warm welcome. Only loses a point because on this Friday lunchtime they were out of rosé and white wine. Otherwise a good bet.

“Saved in Eymet, great food and excellent service, don't miss it!”
Reviewed September 2, 2011

Trying for a late lunch in Eymet (13:45 four adults and a hungry 3 year old), we toured the square and were rejected with typical French élan' ferme' too late! So thank you too the lovely couple who run and own Kismet, who were more than happy too accommodate all of us with a range of lovely dishes on and off the menu. The ambiance and food quality was superb, my 3 year old daughter was on the point of no return but was happily supplied with Pasta and ice cream too follow. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to share their recipe for chocolate guiness cake which shouldn't be missed. The last day of our holiday was rescued by great people.

“What a delightful little place!”
Reviewed October 28, 2009

Tucked away on a corner, in a beautiful medieval village square, we found this charming little cafe by chance.
Excellent coffee and a nice selection of sandwiches, salads and wraps meant we had either breakfast or lunch on each of our 4 days in Eymet. My wife particularly enjoyed the freshly made chicken and sweetcorn soup. The owners, Philip and Sue were a goldmine of information about the surrounding area and the free WiFi came in useful for booking our onward trip.
