We have eaten at the Olive Tree several times and have NEVER had a bad meal. The food has been great and the staff friendly and helpful.

“Perfect Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2011

We went there on our last day before flying back home.
The setting was quite cozy and it looked beautiful at night.
Although the restaurant itself was not that big, we found a place to sit outside.
The service guys and gals took care of our orders quickly, even though there was a group of 24 people which arrived right before us.
They gave us good advice and were very kind.
We had to wait 30 minutes for our food, which we think was totally okay.
The food was yummie and nicely decorated.
The restaurant "Olive Tree" can absolutely be recommended.
If we'd ever fly to Corfu again, this is where we would have at least one dinner again.

“Véry good food, definitely recommended!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2011

THE first time we went here we had pasta with chicken and broccoli which was véry tasty! Red housewine is excellent too. We went back here for the quality food and tried the bourdetto and soffrito (traditional Corfu) food. Both were excellent again. Genuinely friendly staff. Normal prices. Worth your visit!

“Lovely setting, shame about the food, wine and noise”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2011

The restaurant is situated in the Town Square, a beautiful setting, eating al fresco. Interesting buildings to look at, listen to the Corfiot grannies chatting and the incessant noise of skateboarders in the square.
Venice style street lamps supply poor lighting for your meal.
My wife ordered her safe bet, pasta and I tried the beefsteak.
I wasn't asked how I wish to have it cooked, it wouldn't have been worth it.
The steak wasn't recognisable as a cut of meat and I didn't have my best teeth in to chew it.(Joke). The potatoes were a novelty, Boiled and dipped in Olive Oil, somebody should tell me what they are called so I can avoid them in the future.
Finally, warm red wine, I don't mean room temperature but warm.
I am afraid that generally I wasn't impressed with Corfu food.

“Great food, slightly slow service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2011

The pasta dishes were excellent. I ate there at lunch time and in the evening.
The pasta servings are quite large, enough as a main course. The service was a little slow, but on both occaisions the place was quite busy. I won't eat anywhere if I am the only person..
Also had the veal, which was cooked perfectly for me as I asked for it to be very rare.
