Lots of narrow paths in this town but Matoyianni Street has a lot of shopping locations although not many are real bargains. It is interesting to explore though you never know.

Great area with shops, food, etc. You can view the water up close, at night it’s breathtaking. Right when the sun is about to set and you see the lights glimmer off of the water. It’s very common for people to eat outside there’s a lot to look at. It gets very windy at night if your wearing a hat or skirt just hold it down I gave some nice people a show whoops. Also the shops all have similar stuff much of it is touristy keep your eye out for the good stuff don’t be afraid to go into the smaller looking stores & help support a mom n pop family store.

A nice part of town, full of shops and narrow walkways, all very picturesque and quaint. Good for a stroll.

During the high time when the cruise ships are in, this street can be packed so it can be uncomfortable but there are a lot of great shops along here. While it is long, it is extremely narrow and with displays from the shops, it is barely wide enough for 2 people wide.
There are all kinds of shops along here: souvenir, olive oil products, jewelry, clothing, t shirt, restaurants, etc.
Try checking out early on in the day or later in the day before the ships.

Matoyianni Street could be considered the 'high street" of Mykonos but does not have the character of the other narrow and winding streets with white painted shops, colourfully painted doors, staircases of blue.
The town was well maintained and despite the number of tourists, surprisingly clean.
