“We were hoping for a bit more”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2012

Truthfully, we only wandered in because it looked attractive, but found there was little here to stimulate us.

“typical small regional archaeology museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2012

It has mostly the stuff (sculptures, pottery, gravestones, etc) that were moved from Delos to Rhenia when it was "purified". Plus a few interesting pieces from Mykonos itself.

I did find the Delos/Mykonos site guide book here for less than at the souvenir shops so if you are going to get the book, the price difference effectively makes the museum free.

“Great little interlude...Bit of culture”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012

We enjoyed a great little interlude to our otherwise hedonistic holiday with a visit to this well kept little museum. The staff where very helpful helping to explain a little of the history to the exhibits. The exhibits were limited in variety but lovingly restored. The centre piece design was very good.
