Gorgeous......but a bit ponsey!

Beautiful pool area, huge rooms although the bathroom was very dated for a 5 star hotel.

Great if you could get a great deal on the room rate, not sure its worth the money full price.

Room 207 from 28th May to 5th June 2010. It was a deluxe with private jacuzzi on balcony with a great view over Megali Ammos bay looking at the back of the famous windmills and an island. Tip, we think this is one of the best rooms if you can handle a flight of steps up from the pool (they take your case up and down for you anyway) along with the 2 we saw with private plunge pools which are pool level so slightly less private. We booked the transfer via email about 5 days before our arrival and on arrival the driver was there to meet another couple but didn't have our names down. However no problem he made a call and took us anyway. It costs 15euros per person so approx £30 a couple each way and on departure the hotel called us a taxi which costs between 15 and 20 euros total. However I would probably do it the same were we to go again as on arrival its nice not to have to find a taxi and queue and the hotel's driver was friendly and safe driver and offered bottled water etc. The location for us was perfect. Being just outside the town and high up means great views, easy proximity without noise so you can sleep when you choose to. On that note when you close your windows and doors you can't hear bar music or a pip sqeak in the hotel and the air con works fantastic. It is a 5 minute walk down steps and steep slopes to get to main road and a 5 minute walk along the busy and potentially dangerous main beach road into town. So 10 minutes total. In daylight if you have no kids its your risk and we did it. No pavements as is normal in Greece. We dodged and snuck in as helmetless mopeds whizzed past. At night I would refuse to walk further than the minute it takes to cross the road to get to Joanna's (Nikos Tavena) which we would recommend and is very good prices with all meze dishes 4 euros each approx. Fish from approx 12. Ask reception to call you a taxi into town at night. Cost 4-6 euros each way. Coming back from town taxis are in the main square with bus terminal or the port and cost 4 euros. Girls leave the heels at home when exploring the town. Boutique shoes priced from 130 euros this year, 58 up for handbags and 170 up for silver bracelets. None of the restaurants in town matched Joanna's or Bill & Coo's for price, value or quality. Avoid OPA Taverna in town which gave me saganaki that I could bounce off the walls and the restaurant directly below the windmills in Little Venice area which charged 120 euros for 3 mouthfulls of lobster and a plate of cold vegetables. Bill & Coo's restaurant was beautiful with beautiful food and service. We had a dinner there which was a bit Mitchelin star to be honest and cost around 120 euros for 2 with wine and a starter and main each with a desert shared. Try the white santorini Fume wine. Its 28 euros a bottle and very good. Water is 4 euros and cocktails are 10 for fruit and 15-18 for alcohol. A burger and chips or a greek salad at lunch will be between 12 and 17 euros each. The infinity pool was warm enough to swim in and those sunbeds for 2 have such deep matresses you can sleep in them. Heaven! There is always enough umberellas for shade as well. As we were leaving the hotel got so full we couldn't get a bed by pool and that would've upset us had we stayed that week. As everyone has sun loungers on their patio/balcony and some with own jacuzzi or pool it is surprising but the matresses on patios and balcony beds are so thin they hurt to lay on and we suspect that is why. There is a book exchange and apple computer in reception although you can pick up a login if you have your own lapbook in your room. Breakfast is 5 euros room service if you have it on your balcony and you can have greek (cheese and spinach pies and greek yoghurt & honey), light (smoked turkey with low fat milk etc) or continental (lots of pastries and cakes) tea, coffe and orange juice. Eggs and waffles etc are extra. The shower in room is amazing! A massive round power shower head, a focus hard jet hand held for us ladies if we don't wish to get our hair wet and 3 side spray fountain jets coming out of wall like in a spa. The dryer is in bathroom next to mirror (bonus) but the plastic hot air carrying tube connecting dryer to wall got so hot it did burn to the touch. Back to the jacuzzi to finish. It was a 6 man tub! It was hot! Temp controlls worked perfectly and whilst it is usually a windy island which can cause temp to drop there was no wind when we were there so we were glad of the water. We enjoyed a great massage in the jacuzzi as the jets were strong. We would put this hotel on a par with the Banyan Tree in Seychelles. nb can't comment on previous guests comments but this year's staff are great. can't do enough for you and all with a cheerful smile. Enjoy :)

We are a couple in our early thirties who really enjoy boutique hotels with attention to detail - this hotel met our expectations and exceeded them. The room was spacious (although not truly a suite) with a very comfortable bed and luxurious washroom. Our view from our private balcony was truly spectacular. What really sets this hotel apart is the amazing common areas - meaning the pool and open air restauarant. There's a wonderful variety of sitting areas to have breakfast, a quiet drink or lounge by the pool. The vibe was always relaxing, but trendy. The service was impeccable, especially the front desk staff and the servers by the pool. Every day, there was a little extra "something", whethere it be a complimentary glass of wine, shooter by the pool or a spritz from an atomizer. These little touches were always welcome. I will mirror previous reviews and praise the delicous, complimentary breakfast - in all of our european travels, we have never enjoyed a complimentary breakfast more. We loved that everything was made to order and that there was so much variety. Everything was delicious. We had dinner there one night as well and thought it was reasonably good. The only small issue was the short, albeit unpleasant walk to town in the evening. Although this was not an issue during the day, it was a bit steep and dangerous in the evenings - although you can always take a short cab if this is really an issue. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

My partner and I honeymood at Bill & Coo in September 09. The bar and pool area are amazing, with a great view, cool music and a tremendous infinity pool. Its a great place to hang during the day or for an early evening drink at night. It's a small hotel too, so not too many people and not a kid in sight. The accommodation is also good, with large rooms or suites. We stayed in one with a huge terrace, though it did over look the rather grotty car park. Others with a better view of the town, have smaller terraces which actually link together - making them far from private. The included breakfast was excellent, and the service fantastic.
My only issue with this place is that the rooms are really far from luxury - they're certainly big, and nice, painted white and simple, with modern bathrooms, which is fine for a mid-range price, but not nearly as well designed as I'd expected for the cost. Also we stayed into two rooms - upgraded to the executve suite for the last night, and the spa pools in both were frankly filthy; maybe as this was in september the maintenance was falling off, but they really need to pay a bit more attention to the basics. All in all I'd recommend it, if you dont mind paying more than you should (but if you do, dont go to Mykonos as everything is ridicolously expensive).
Oh and Ive never seen a note on the fridge telling you you cant put your own drinks in it. Given the three figure charge of a basic bottle of Moet, we ignored it and stocked up from the local off licenses with very good E5 bottles of cava!

Our stay in Bill and Coo was nothing but perfect. The key things that were important to us are great service, food, a quiet relaxing atmosphere and cleanliness. Bill and Coo met all our expectations. The restaurant run by Athinagoras is Michellin standard. His menu degustation is made of the freshest ingredients. We highly recommend guests to eat at the restaurant. Whilst we were there, Athinagoras prepared 2 different menu degustation meals - both would have equaled a Michellin star meal.

The bar is outstanding and the 2 barmen make the sexist cocktails. All staff on site were extremely friendly and helpful. Every staff from the waiter to the the barmen to the kitchen remember every day that my husband is lactose intolerant ! Credit should be given to Klaus the Hotel Manager as well for running a great team there.

What we also love about Bill and Coo is the magnificent view and the closeness to Mykonos town.

There's only one place we'll stay when we return to Mykonons and that is Bill and Coo!

This was our second trip to Bill & Coo ... an exquisite place on Mykonos for those who love class and style, perfect service, romantic settings and .. the incredible creations of its Chef Kostakos Athinagorias. Try a gastronomical dinner and do not be afraid to give a hint to Kostakos of what you favorite dish is. Also try one of the cocktail creations of Bar magician Spyros ... you will be astonished! The suites are of a superb design and cleanliness, very spacious and with an excellent view of the Mykonian sunset. And if this is your honeymoon destination, book the suite with private infinite pool... And finally, if at any time you would have the slightest concern, just talk to Kleos, the manager, he is all ear to your wishes.

We stayed at Bill & Coo on our honeymoon in early May and enjoyed this hotel. The room was nice/modern and the bed incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is truly as good as other reviewers say- definitely the best of the hotels we stayed at in the Greek Isles. The staff was friendly and helpful, even giving us a cell phone (limited to calling the hotel) to carry in case we got lost or needed a pick up. The beach below the hotel was not the nicest, but Ornos is a quick cab ride or nice walk from the hotel. It is true that the walk to Mykonos town is short but a bit dangerous with regards to traffic, especially at night. We did have one really odd experience our first night at the hotel (the reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars). I was feeling ill in the middle of the night and sent my husband to the reception area to grab a bottle of water. About half and hour later we had gone back to sleep and were rudely awaken by a phone call from the guy at the front desk who asked my husband to come sit with him because he heard a noise and was afraid that someone was watching him or trying to scare him. It is truly never appropriate to 1) wake up a guest in the middle of the night, 2) tell a guest you don't feel safe, and 3) request that a guest leave his sick wife on his honeymoon to come sit with you in the lobby until you are no longer scared. We mentioned all of this to the manger the next day and he seemed completely unphased by it.

My other complaint was that there was a large family gathering, complete with small children running around, while we were trying to relax by the pool. This took away from the tranquil romantic setting.

I would still recommend this hotel as it was quite lovely overall.
