I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Vencia. Stella and her team were incredibly welcoming and gave us great advice on restaurants in town, places to visit as well as a short cut to get into town in less than 5 minutes. We loved our stay here, Demetri the bar tender made incredible cocktails based on what we liked, as well as advice on where to go out. The pool had a spectacular view of the town. Lying there on the pool lounges was unbeatable! Breakfast was excellent and we always had a good variety of food. The hotel restaurant Karavaki also offered an excellent menu. Our only critique would be that my partner found the mattress a little hard. All in all an amazing trip made better by Vencia! We will definitely be back.

We recently stayed at the Venica. The hotel staff is wonderful and the location breathtakingl. Beautiful pool overlooking Mykonos Town and the water. The hotel features a restaurant which is very nice for weary travelers arriving late. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony or terrrace.

During a 7 night stay you get time to realise that this place just gets better and better – the opposite of familiarity breeds contempt! A warm welcome at the airport and on arrival at the hotel, coupled with a cooling drink, sets the right feel. And then you stay here…

Stunning is probably the best way to describe the hotel – that and the fantastically welcoming, happy, friendly staff. Nobody passes you without a smile and a hello. The staff really do deserve a special mention – nothing too much trouble (A bucket of ice? Certainly! More hangers for the wardrobe? No problem!). Everyone made a special effort to make visitors welcome, to stop and chat, to be friendly without being intrusive.

The room - a junior suite – was lovely, with stunning views out across the infinity pool, little town and harbour of Mykonos, and out to the Mediterranean Sea. Sunsets were amazing. Casual chic with a seaside theme probably best describes it. Lots of pastel colours and seaside decoration. Only a shower, but a good “rainfall” type with good water pressure and plenty of hot water; nice toiletries, and bathrobes too!

The food was excellent – see a separate review of the Karavaki Restaurant – but the quality of breakfast and lunches was superb – and large portions too! On first eating lunch we were – very nicely – advised that we had ordered too much food, and the waitress was right! It’s very tempting to stay put in a place as beautiful as this, and having been to a couple of the local beaches I think I’d be tempted not to wander too far if I visited again. Lovely loungers, day-beds and chairs around the pool, and the stunning view across the infinity pool. Also – quite importantly – the pool is in the sun all day – some of the other hotels that we looked at couldn’t claim to have sun all day long.

Location was excellent – you need to be on the hill to get the perfect views and sunsets! A 5-10 minute stroll into town, a little bit longer up the hill coming back, but not too difficult and well worth the effort to work off the fantastic food.

All in all, worth the extra cost, and a big thank you to the staff - especially to the breakfast staff -for making a lovely holiday.

Room Tip: You've got to have a sea view!

We just got back from our honeymoon, and we spent three nights at Vencia. The service was spectacular and the pool was amazing. It is close enough to town that you can easily walk there, but away from the large crowds in the town itself. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not only was the hotel charming and everything we thought it would be, the service here is impeccable. From the driver that picked us up off the ferry to the owner of the entire hotel, everyone welcomed us and treated us like we were family. Need to be shown how to get to town? They're happy to sit with you and explain. From tips that only local would know, to scheduling massages and pedicures (which were both great), this crew is top rate.

Our room was the budget garden room at first and we then upgraded to a pool view, they were both lovely and the first room was separate from the rest of the hotel, which was nice. All in all our stay was great, we took the tips from the women at the front desk and couldn't have had a better two days. The restaurant is good as well, with a great sunset view, crab legs were amazing! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Having read the reviews on trip advisor we dipped our toe into the unknown and booked into Vencia Boutique Hotel as a change from our usual hotel in Mykonos......and we were glad we did. The rooms are airy and tastefully decorated - we had a sea view which I think is worth the supplement as the view was probably the best in Mykonos settled up the hill from the town which gave incredible sunsets on the balcony or by the pool. The service and staff couldn't be faulted being friendly, polite and not intrusive. The breakfast was good with adequate choice. The restaurant serves a good selection of very nice food throughout the day with the local special of the day a good recommendation if your round the pool area. I can not fault anything from the moment we were met at the airport to the moment we were dropped back of at departures. Will definitely choose this hotel again when coming back to the island.

We stayed at the Vencia hotel for 2 nights in June. The hotel is in a great location with just a short walk to Mykonos but high enough on the hill for great views. The staff greats you with some nice tropical drinks and tells you about what you should do on the island. There is a place to rent scooters or quad runners across the street so it is easy to get around the island from the hotel.

The food at the hotel was outstanding. We ate there 4 times during our two night stay.

Room Tip: Get a room with an ocean view the views are outstanding.
