The chef at Lady Finger is a brilliant madman... the innovative and contemporary twists put on traditional Greek fare is nothing short of extraordinary, and the flavours and textures come together sublimely! Service and ambiance in this small and intimate restaurant is impeccable, warm and friendly. In my honest opinion, a great place for a romantic dinner and unforgettable food. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip, I urge you not to miss this!

Lady Finger is an absolute gem of a hotel restaurant and feels like you're discovering something amazing before everyone else knows about it!

Set within the lovely Andronikos hotel the mix of mismatched classical furniture and fascinating artwork gives the restaurant a quirky feel. The small but perfectly balanced menu only hints at the delights that get put before you from the kitchen of the creative chef Dimitris Aidinis, a name I believe that is going to accumulate more and more awards if our meal is anything to go on!

As we were staying at the Andronikos we didn't particularly take note of the prices of the courses or the wine at the time, so when we came to paying the hotel bill at the end of our stay we were very surprised at how little the restaurant bill was, considering the food was easily on par with Michelin star awarded restaurants we've dined at back home.

Lady Finger is a restaurant that the Andronikos Hotel can be very proud of, and the menu one that chef Dimitris must be very proud of too.

Lady Finger is the signature restaurant of the luxurious Andronikos Hotel just a 5 minute taxi ride from Mykonos town.

With only approximately 30 covers, this restaurant is both small and intimate, has both indoor & outdoor seating and stunning views over the ocean.

We ate in the restaurant as we were staying in the hotel and wanted to give it a try as we had heard nothing but good recommendations - it's well worth a visit in its own right and perfect for a romantic meal out.

On our visit the food was prepared by the talented Greek chef Dimitirs Aidinis - he certainly has much to be proud of. We started with an Amuse Bouche of traditional Greek stuffed tomatoes but served with a twist - deconstructed and served on a slate bed. It was a delight to behold, a picture on a plate and I have never tasted such a beautifully concentrated taste of tomato. This set the theme for the rest of dinner.

The menu is not huge - this is a godsend for those that find it difficult to make a choice between courses, three or four starters and a couple of entrées. However we were assured that chef would accommodate any special requests - very flexible.
The wine list consisted of a selection of Greek wines - we settled on a wonderfully fruity Cabernet.

Our starters were once again beautifully crafted, the one we didn't order appeared afterward as a special treat. Again served on flat slate or tile they looked and tasted fantastic. I won't go into too much detail because I would not like to spoil the surprise for big foodies. Our main courses were beautifully cooked - I opted for fish of the day (grouper) which was filleted and perfectly cooked. These meatier types of fish are notoriously difficult to get 'just right' yet Dimitris executed it beautifully.

Finally we were treated to a wonderful dessert of Mastic cake - a Greek take on a filled soufflé - simply wonderful tasty and light. Again it looked stunning.

If you like intimate Michelin standard dining with a beautiful ambience, friendly staff and a talented chef who will go far, then come to Lady Finger - you will not regret it!
