The staff are super welcoming and do everything they can to make your stay as great as possible. We loved the buffet break and the pool views are stunning.

Great Hotel about 10mins walk from the city centre and close to the airport too.

Highly recommend if you don't want to be in the heart of the city and like to have 180 degree views of Mykonos town centre.

LOVED our stay here and will definitely be back!

Our stay from 25 June until 2 July was a fantastic holiday. Our room was 118 on the ground floor next to reception and we had fantastic views of the sea and town. I would recommend this room as a sea view and very comfortable stay. Very friendly staff, very clean. Breakfast was simple but nice. Sat out overlooking the fantastic views was a added bonus. Pool area was very nice, during our stay it never got crowded so had a relaxed feel to it with music playing which was chilled out music. Very comfortable sunbeds and shade available if you want it. Beer was around 3 euros in the hotel a bottle of Coke 2 euros so well priced. 24 hour reception, free shuttle service to and from the airport or ferry port, we emailed the hotel prior to our arrival and they were there waiting for us and got us back to the airport again on time for our return flight.
The only down side to this hotel is it is quite a walk back from Mykonos town. Not too bad getting there but pretty hard work back, either by day in the heat or by night after a meal and drinks followed by a dark walk back. We tried on a few occasions to get a taxi but no luck. We were told there is 25 taxis on Mykonos so getting one is hard work. There is a taxi rank in town. We waited one night for a hour and the queue in front of us had not gone down by 1 person!! and there were 6 in front of us so in the end decided to walk and this was around 1am.
Having said that the hotel, the views and Mykonos town is worth it as long as you are prepared to do the walk. The views you are rewarded with are breath taking. The walk is very dark in parts so a torch would be a good idea. And a must for ladies no heels!! Flat shoes with a good sole/grip is the only way to master the walk there and back as not only steps but very uneven under foot.
Room tip make sure you pay the little extra for a sea view you will not be disappointed!
A big thank you to everyone at the Alkyon for making our holiday a great one.

From the views, to the staff, to the grounds...everything was amazing. The hotel conveniently picks you up from the airport, the driver and staff are all very friendly and kind, the service was excellent. They were very helpful in telling you what to do and see based on your preference and length of stay. Grounds were very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of eggs, bacon, meats, cheeses, specialty Greek pastries and more. Beautiful views by the pool deck, great bar tender at the pool bar too. Rooms were a comfortable size, some larger than others but all with a spectacular view. The walk up or down the hill to the town wasn't too hard, takes about 5-10 minutes a flashlight might help you although it's not required. I would defiantly go back to this hotel during my next visit to Mykonos. You won't be disappointed!!

Views from pool are fantastic and Chris at the bar is friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is perfectly acceptable. If you're not renting a car/ATV/scooter, know that the walk to town is along trash-strewn rock stairs part of the way, some of it unlit at night. Nonetheless, we found the views made up for it. We would stay there again.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for 9days and I can honestly say everything about the hotel was lovely, rooms where big and had lots of space, always clean and tidy! Breakfast in the moment had lots of choices to choose from which was great. All the staff were so kind and helpful and great to get on with. Chris the bar man by the pool made the best strawberry daiquiris I have ever tasted and always made us all feel welcomed. The hotel is general is in walking distance from the town and the views are amazing, defo would rate this one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

The Alkyon hotel is in walking distance to the town. The walk was around 20 minutes if you walk the main road and 10 minites if you choose the short-cut. My hubby and I both nearly slipped when we took the short-cut on the first stay. Make your own choice then.
The hotel provided pick-up transfers to and from the port or airport.
The location allowed us to stay in a quiet environment while public transport to beaches was just available in the bus stop near the hotel entrance.
The hotel staff were all nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The views from the room and the breakfast area, as well as the pool were excellent!
Our stay in Alkyon contributed to our nice memories of Mykonos!
