Since this hotel is on top of a mountain, the view of the Sunset was breathtaking.

The Hotel Staff (Sophia and crew) were more than accommodating to please you. They did an excellent job in giving you direction and helping you out with a bike rental etc.

The room was great, our sea view room came with an excellent view of Mykoknos town, and the sunset. The room was clean, basic, but comfortable. It was spacious. The bed was good for European standards.

The location of the hotel could work for you or against you. LIke I said earlier it is located uphill, but easily accessible by road.

If you have a Car/ATV/Bike, this is an excellent place to stay as it is the hub to go to any part of Mykonos. If you are walking then it is a bit of a mission to go uphill from Mykonos town.

The breakfast was average. A bit more variety would really help. But it was good for an included breakfast.

The pool is very nice looking, although we did not have the time to take advantage of it.

I would recommend this Hotel to the others.

Room Tip: Get a room with the view of the Sunset (Sea View). It's worth the extra cost.

The first impression of the hotel is great. Staff helpful. Pool relaxing. However I could not sleep one minute because they put us in a smoking room. The bed, blankets, pillows all smell smoke. Could keep the garden door open because of mosquitos. Requested change of room but fully booked. I made my reservations several weeks ahead with a child and still got the ash tray.

We read comments on Alkyon posted in Trip Advisor before booking a room and would just say the positive comments are so true! The view from hotel and our room were fantastic, staff were helpful, breakfast was nice. We love the reception and pool areas so much - where we saw the beautiful sunset. We did have to walk a bit to the town, yet for the great view and such a tranquil environment, it's just worth!

I am more than pleased with this little gem hotel.I stayed there with my sister in late May and our stay was more than enjoyable.Sophia and all the team were friendly nice and hospitable.Views were to die for!Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of variety to choose (including homemade cakes, cookies, spinach and cheese pies) everything that you need for a good start of your day. Pick up and drop off was complimentary. We will not hesitate to propose it to our friends when they travel to Mykonos as will definitely go back again!

Room Tip: Try a room above of the pool. These are quiet and offer fabulous view.

We've just returned from our trip to Mykonos and we spent 5 nights in this hotel. The word that best decribes this hotel is SIMPLY GREAT. The rooms are spacious, very clean and very simply, but tastefully arranged. The staff is very nice and friendly and always answered our questions whether we were talking about what beaches to go to, best restaurants on the island or how to get to the car rental service. Also, I would like to mention that the hotel has a free transfer service to/from the port, which is very, very useful . And I have to mention the view from the hotel terrace to Mykonos town and the bay of Mykonos. It is gorgeous!!! We will definetly come back to Mykonos and we will definetly come back to Alkyon hotel for our future vacations. A great thank you to the team of this hotel for making our stay there memorable and wonderful.

By far the best view in Mykonos of any hotel. The receptionist, Sophia, was the best hotel employee I have ever encountered. Led us to all the right areas, restaurants, and additional services needed, like a must needed ATV.
