This hotel was a real find - the cheapest of the five hotels we stayed in during our three week Greek Odyssey and, in many ways, the one we enjoyed the most. Spotlessly clean, spacious room with modern new bathroom and French doors opening to balcony with view over Mykonos town and port to neighbouring islands. Quite reserved but helpful staff - we were collected from the port at no charge when we couldn't find a taxi on arrival. Also trays of tea were brought to our room when requested at no charge. A simple but adequate breakfast (including yoghurt, fresh bread, cheese, cold meats and a small selection of hot food) was served in the breakfast room with a lovely view of Mykonos below. Pleasant swimming pool area also.

It is about a 10 min walk into Mykonos town (Hora) and 15mins back - lots of steps and steep lanes - very picturesque but a hard slog back. Taxis are usually available at Taxi Square if you can't face it!

There is some traffic noise from the road - mainly scooters going up the hill (this is Greece, after all!) but we didn't notice it all from inside our room.

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at this hotel very much and would definitely stay here again.

We recently enjoyed four nights at the Hermes Hotel, Mykonos. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ourf room was large with a fantastic view overlooking old Mykonos Town. Our only surprise was the poor plumbing, with the bath/shower water overflowing on to the bathroom floor if let out too quickly....but overall, this was not a really big issue with us. The other consideration that needs to be made is your level of fitness if getting around on foot, as the way to the old Town is via steep stairs leading down the hill, which is not too bad going down but a challenge coming back up. If you are not fit, then a taxi is the other alternative, but they are difficult to find in the old town itself. Breakfast are OK with the breakfast room/terrace enjoying fantastic views overlooking the town. Don't expect the full buffet you would expect in a five star establishment. Great pool area with outside bar and adequate parking if you hire a car or bike. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing view from our room. Really clean and modern with friendly and helpful staff. Only issue may be it is up quite a steep hill from town, so walking back is tiring. Otherwise, was fantastic. Would highly recommend it.

We had a WONDERFUL time at this very beautiful hotel. Look no more, this is the perfect place to stay in MYKONOS TOWN. The rooms are VERY LARGE and the bathroom is HUGE with lots of hot and cold water!!! Every room has a beautiful view and a great terrace!!! The people there (Margarita ant the rest of the staff) are the most kind people, very helpful and they made us feel at home!!! This is one of the greatest places I have stayed in my vacations. The LOCATION IS PERFECT, a very nice walk up the hill, through a very safe and beautiful area!!!! Delicious breakfast was served every morning with a large variety of different breads, eggs, coffee, tea, juices, marmalades, cheese, fruit, and more!!!! The breakfast room is really a magnificent place to starto the day, offering a MAGNIFICENT view of Mykonos Town and the beautiful Aegean!!! I WILL DEFINITELY LIKE TO COME BACK! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Also, there is free Internet, in case you need to use it. There were even fresh flowers every day at the hotel lobby, breakfast room, and everywhere, the garden of the hotel is also BEAUTIFUL!!!!

We had three glorious days on Mykonos at this great hotel. Our room was a good size with a modern bathroom and a large balcony. As the hotel is situated at the top of the town you have a magnificent view over the town and harbour with some of the most superb sunsets you could imagine. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are tasty and plentiful. The free internet access is an added bonus. The only drawback is the climb up from town and elderly visitors should be aware of this.
