The location of tis hotel is great; right on the edge of town. The wifi is decent, but you have to be in the right spot in the room for it to work and sometimes it didn't work outside the room on the balcony. The room was decent, but the AC turns off when the key is removed, so the room is very hot and it doesn't work that well (takes a while to start working at max capacity). There are a lot of stairs to drag your luggage to and from the lobby and I never saw an elevator during the stay. Although it is in walking distance from the old port, I recommend asking for assistance to get to the hotel. It is recommended, or you're dragging your bags through crowds and various steps from the port. You have to rent a car to go to most places and it's expensive; however, cab fares are just as much per day because of taxi licensing. The roads are very narrow for driving and walking, be cautious. The bus is fairly easy to use for 1.9-2 euro per trip, but can get crowded. Be sure to check the timetables because they can change throughout the day and vary. Transportation should be arranged to get to the airport, due to the shortage of cabs on the island. We had an early checkout on the last day and the staff wasn't overly friendly to help us with our bags; however, they were on the first day. In general, the staff wasn't overly friendly or helpful about where to go/what to do on the island. Overall, the hotel was clean and in a great location. I would consider staying again.
