We were there abit after the main season rush and enjoyed it. We shal defently come again !

The crew were very nice & welcoming. They have a great service of shuttle car to the old city enterance. They will also come and collect you back from the drop point, and all this when ever you want 24 Hs a day ! They charge nothing so it will be nice to tip the driver.

Breakfast quality and variety is lovely, love their greek salad and fresh squezed juice.

Main pool is with salt water and a great view to the bay & islands.

Room Tip: Different rooms have special featurs like privet pools and some has hot jacuzzi. Ask to check out so...

Loved every minute. This is ideal if you're escaping the big smoke, like me! I'm already planning my next visit. The hotel was luxe w/ the local town nearby. My recommendation would be spend sometime island hopping and getting to know the local hotspots.

We can't sing enough praises of our stay at Cavo Tagoo in Mykonos. The hotel is magnificent and with a great supportive and friendly staff who are attentive to every need. When we arrived at the end of September they gave us champagne which we enjoyed in the outdoor lobby overlooking the water. One of the staff members oriented us to the island and answered multiple questions regarding beaches and restaurants.

They then escored us to our upgraded room - a magnificent 2-BDR family suite and I must say that this was one of the most lovely accommodations I have ever been to and I am a seasoned traveler. The motif was white and gold with glass sliding doors opening on a small wading pool with comfortable bean lounging chairs. There was a living room and two large bedrooms with individual baths and jacuzzis - simply fabulous spacious rooms.

The following morning we had an outstanding breakfast with a buffet complete with traditional fare including fresh squeezed orange juice. But the best part were all the delicioius cheeses, vegetables, fruits and delectable home-made Greek goods (eg, tyropitas), breads, and desserts. the hotel had a complimentary shuttle service into town where we had some great meals (check out Avra Restaurant and dessert at the pastry shop Komninos for authentic sweet desserts such as loukamades made right in front of you)..

The wait staff at Cavo Tagoo were also attentive and friendly. Had appetizers one day at the hotel restaurant which were especially savory. Never wanted to leave but have promised ourselves that we will come back some day.

The hotel is beautiful, the service was great and the food and drink were quite good. The only problem - the room! I think we had a deluxe room, #142. We probably should have made a fuss but decided not to, now I regret it. It simply wasn't up to par for the amount we paid. First off it was small, maybe it barely met the size stated on the website but given the layout of the room (sort of a pie shape) it sure didn't feel like it. There was barely enough room between the end of the bed and the shelf hanging off the wall to walk between them. There certainly wasn't room for a second luggage rack, but there were also only 2 small drawers to put things in so we had to put our second suitcase on the only chair in the room (which was a bizarre shade of orange in an otherwise pastel room). The lighting was poor. The bathroom smelled "off" as though there had been a sewage backup at some point and there was barely enough room on the counter to put down your toothbrush. The balcony was tiny and the 2 chairs barely fit. Turn down service only happened 2 of the 4 night we were there.

But aside from all that, the hotel was wonderful. Great location if you want to be near the action of Mykonos Town without being in it. All the drivers and bellmen were very accommodating (very 24 hour shuttle to town was very convenient, never waited more than 3 minutes). The front desk was very helpful, and the concierges were great about restaurant recs. The bartender was very friendly, and the service around the pool was great as well. Breakfast (included) was delicious although I do think it would be great if they offered one unique hot dish each day because if you are there for more than 2-3 days it gets a little repetitive . I got a body scrub while there at the spa and it was quite nice.

So overall we had a good experience, and I would even stay there again, but the room needed a serious upgrade (or a lower price).

just come back from staying a week at Cavo Tagoo. First impressions were amazing, the pool area with infinity pool and big white beds were spot on, and the views were unreal - best view of the sunset we have seen. But gradually as our holiday progressed we were let down by the following reasons;

We paid a small fortune for a deluxe room with pool - the pool was freezing so hardly got to use it and there were no tea or coffee facilities within the room - 5 star hotel should have this. The room was also very small for the price we paid - and after seeing another deluxe room with a pool we soon realized that we had been given possibly the smallest deluxe room out of the bunch. After complaining half way through the holiday we were moved to a much larger deluxe room with a bigger pool.

The service around the pool wasn't great, all the loud large families seemed to be waited on constantly by who i think was a lady called Leni!? We had to go get menus and order drinks at the bar ourselves, which is fine but not when you feel like your the only ones having to do this. Thankfully this wasn't the case whenever the waiter Gregory came on shift - he was lovely! They also ran out of certain drinks, we thought they'd have stocked up again by the next day but they were still out of stock for the next 3 days.

The spa is very small and overpriced - we only went to use it on our last night. We just wanted to use the steam room and sauna but we couldn't as we were told that they close that area after 6pm for private massages - we were never told this so in the end we didn't get to use the spa at all.

However the breakfasts are divine, lots to choose from and you can enjoy it by the pool with the wonderful views. Other reviews stated that the coffee was awful but if you choose a cappuccino these were fine! We had one meal in the restaurant which was very pricey but the food was great. If we had the chance to do it all again we wouldn't bother with a freezing cold pool with the room, we'd go for the jacuzzi on the terrace instead. Watching the sunsets by the pool or from our room was the highlight of our stay thanks to Cavo Tagoo! This could be an amazing hotel if they just improved some areas, 5 star hotel with 3 star service that lets it down.

Room Tip: don't stay in a deluxe room beginning with 5 on the 3rd floor. There are bigger rooms elsewhere.

I was in need of a good massage, so i went looking for the man who provided me with an amazing massage in 2011.. After a fall, I found this Greek God and he fixed my shoulder!
Unfortunately, I could not find Manos at the property he was at 2 years, however I was told by a ‘local’ that he has moved.. So off I went to Cavo Tagoo to find him, an there he was!! He provided me with the most intense, amazing massage I had ever received since his massage in 2011.. His hands are strong and gets right into the areas that need it.. he worked on my shoulder again a little, however the full body massage was magnificent!
His charisma, his charm, his personality, always sets the mood and he is willing to please and go over and above his duties and ensures he provides his best service, every time!! I was fortunate enough he could book me in at short notice and I was forever grateful to have experienced his massage yet again.. AMAZING!!!
I will be back in 2015 and hoping to stay at this gorgeous property and book Manos for a daily massage!!
MANOS, you are FANTASTIC!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, AGAIN!! 

Room Tip: Book Manos to massage you!! Well worth the money and time and what an experience!

Upon arriving to Mykonos the hotel had a driver pick us up at the airport and you immediately felt the cool and sophisticated vibe of this hotel. The driver was warm and friendly and took great care in getting us to the property. When our room was finally ready we were taken to room which we were not happy with. When we called the front desk they were very apologetic and quick to make a change. They took great care in ensuring that we were happy with our new room and went above and beyond in ensuring that we were satisfied. The staff was excellent and always willing to offer suggestions and helpful hints in navigating the island. The restaurant is great and the pool and bar area a fun place to hang out. There is a sophisticated trendiness that makes you want to hang around the pool and bar day or night. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very nice although the rooms could use some updating. Saying that though, we had a great time here and met some terrific people.
