“the best by far food-choice in myconos!!”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

The location, the FOOD, everything amazing! Situated far from the frenzy of the centre of myconos but with a very vivid and pleasant atmosphere and with a picturesque beach with blue clean watesr. congrats!

(I've eaten there three times in a week!)

“Great setting and atmosphere ..needs to sort things out though.”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

Positive:
Food is of satisfactory quality although portions tend to be on the small size
Overall amazing setting and location especially during the sunset hours.
Decoration + innovative and original design
Music selection by Dj

Negative:
Menu selection is poor and unimaginative compared to the originality of the environment
Service is very amateurish although with a smile e.g. Second bottle of wine was never given a chance to be tasted for flaw after opening but poured directly, when asked the response was: you don't like Malagouzia? After a special order of no peppers in the Gaia pasta dish (peppers, olives, tomato and pasta) friend was served pasta with just tomato sauce. When the waiter was asked about it he acknowledged his mistake and instead of taking the dish back to the kitchen to have it remade from scratch or just to add olives in the pan he brought a small ball of pitted olives same as the ones for the appetizers. We were speechless!
Head chef probably is overwhelmed e.g. 1 T-Bone steak arrived in our table after the starters had been cleared, around 10 minutes earlier than rest of main courses and with no fork and knife. Guest was left sitting there watching a good steak go cold.
Fava starter dish portion size was a joke, really. Other menu items such as the deconstructed Gemista (Tomatoes and peppers farsi) were just pretentious.

Conclusion: Fix the service and kitchen issues and this place could be the gem that everybody is talking about.

“Oasis!”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

While we had a little adventure finding the Alemagou, it was all worth it when we spotted it around the next hill. Beautifully situated on the Pfthalia beach, the ambiance of this beautiful oasis on the sea made our lunch so relaxing. The food here was fresh and delicious and definitely worth the hunt. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are traveling to Mykonos and would definitely return on my next trip.
