Description: With a long life course intertwined with the island, Kazarma (storia e gusto) returned to Gialos last year with a totally updated style and concept reminding of a European bistrot. All day hangout, right on the sea front, with a privileged view, travels us from the morning with a well catered menu (you should try grandma's "strapatsada" or "Maria's meatballs"), also fresh fish (including red mullets), cod with black "skordalia" (traditional Greek dip), porchetta (slowly roasted pork), while the windows are full of traditional dishes, exceptional cheeses and cold cut varieties, that promise us tasteful... indiscretions throughout the day! In any case, there isn't anyone who can resist the inspired recipes of the talented chef Stavros Bairabas, which are already very popular, such as urchin salad, ink risotto as well as lamb cooked with fennel seeds. At the end you can enjoy an Italian budino with caramel and smoked salt and make the sweetest epilogue for the day! Just before it gets dark, enjoy a romantic dinner or a cocktail from the updated list with the sea aura accom-panying you. Daily 08:00-03:00.

A nice buzzy place with a good selection of Greek food. The dips are good and served with their own pita's. Meat dishes are yum and their prices are reasonable. Service is good and friendly and this place has WIFI which is reliable. The only draw back is the the smell of diesel from the boats wafts through !

In the old port area of Mykonos, there are plenty of places to eat and drink, but this was one of the better ones that we tried.
Fresh food, a lovely setting and friendly staff.
We popped in here one of the afternoons that while in Mykonos, and had a delicious fresh, light lunch. Our server was from Cuba - excellent English - and was very helpful and friendly.
Havent been here for dinner, but it looked quite busy.
Good spot to enjoy some fresh food with a great view.

Location makes a great impression, but all the harbor cafes are not equal. One is the best. This one. Do not miss the local naif artist Karolina, who has been delivering the real deal for forty years and has a zillion stories.
Of course the food is the freshest, the view of the crowd the most varied, and the service impeccable. All that? And a memory to treasure. Priceless? And the cost....reasonable. And fair. Why I can't stay away.....

There will be no frozen kalamari and rubbery omelettes or french fries here. Soups and salads are prepared fresh every day, with seasonal selections always added to the menu. Lots of meze and appetizers to choose from such as the warm hummus dip with pita bread, the fluffy white taramosalata, wonderful goat cheese salads, and a selection of pastas and risottos. Eat wonderful food, drink great Greek wine and watch the procession of people walk by. More expensive than most places, but you are taken good care of if you are not a backpacker eating a small salad and a water only. By the way, the columns of Parian marble holding the place up are originals taken from the sacred island of Delos a century ago.
