Description: Newly born Greek Eatery in downtown Mykonos, Bakaló is a casual chic diner with retro decorative touches reminiscent of a Greek bistro of a bygone era but with modern flair. Its menu is a tribute to traditional Greek home cooking and is prepared using only fresh local ingredients; its friendly service and prices make it ideal for alfresco dining and people watching.

Lovely experience, good service and we were lucky to arrive and be seated just before it got really busy. Very nicely presented appetisers, the lamb shank was a cleverly broken down version of a kleftiko very tasty, however a litlle greasy and the Chicken souvlaki also very nice. Overall a very nice dining experience, eating here is as expensive as you choose to make it, but for what we ordered including wine it was pretty reasonable for Mykonos town.

Ate myhere on last night of Island hopping holiday.Probably the worst value for money I experienced in two and a half weeks of eating out.Dishes at least 30-40% more than many
other restaurants.1/2 litre wine,1 small starter and 1 main dish was €40.(no bread, that was extra!)Service friendly and professional,Seating cramped and food quality good but not special and portion size poor for cost. All in all disappointing,

Great atmosphere, concept of sharing meals is encouraged so easy to try new food. Excellent service and people watching potential.

A restaurant that wants to be as a high-class restaurant, but does not have the features.
The food in the dishes is always scarce, it looks like a greek nouvelle cuisine; often some things are not available because they end soon, vine leaves with rice are the worst eaten on the island (microscopic size and bad taste), and the bill at the end is very expensive!
The waiters are friendly and welcoming.
You have to pay for bread!

We did not eat here but sat next to the restaurant and it was busy and buzzy. Food looked good and had lo'ts of table for two, ideal for couples. Will eat here at some point during the holiday.
