My wife and I visited Greece for our honeymoon in July 2010. Mykonos was the third place we stopped at. We stayed at the Mykonos Bay Hotel and totally loved it. This hotel is located right on a private beach, and walking distance into the main town centre.
The hotel staff is great and can help you out with the party spots and the quite local places that they like to hang out in. and with free Wi-Fi all over the hotel you can do it on yourself if you please. In Mykonos you will have to hire some sort of transportation, be it a car, bike or ATV. All of which the hotel helps you to hire.
Both my wife and I loved the location and the views from our rooms, but just wish the rooms were a little bigger. We stayed in their executive rooms, and it was one of the more expensive rooms that we paid for in our honeymoon and was the smallest in size. If you are going to explore the island like we did then the small room probably will not bother you too much, but if you are planning on relaxing in the hotel by the pool then a bigger room might suit you better.
I think where the hotel lacks in sizes of the rooms it makes up in its location and the service. If staying near the town centre is important then this is a great hotel for that, and I don’t think you will be disappointed with the Mykonos Bay.

Another wonderful stay at Mykonos Bay! We've been coming to this gem of a spot for years. Just at the edge of Mykonos town, (7 minute walk), this is the place we love to relax, as we are really active travelers, and a couple nights here is the perfect vibe for us. Nick, the owner, and Chrisoula, as well as the rest of the excellent staff, always attend to us with smiles and warmth..this is not a posh hotel, it is a comfortable, beautifully situated property, on a small crescent of sand, with a fabulous pool, great views. Comfortable bed, clean marble floored room with bath (with tub), flat panel tv, kettle, and fridge, with comp coffee tea, balcony, and a diverse, tasty breakfast. We only visit Mykonos (and Greece) in May or late Sept/Oct..and find it the perfect vibe for us, and this is where we will always stay..Thanks Mr Nick, and your staff for always making us feel at home.

I don't understand all the little pettiness that reviewers have with Mykonos Bay Hotel. It won't be perfect but it's close to being perfect if you're traveling. You can't expect it to be like home. You have perfect location, great pool, a great American-style breakfast buffet, staff that picks you up and drop you off, clean rooms, amazing views of bay and sunset, your own beach, free internet, etc. Nikos is an accommodating host. All his staff are so pleasant. If you're going to have a little complaint, then you might as well stay at home.

The staff and the owner (Nikos) were very helpful and attentive. My family enjoyed our 3 day stay even though the wind made swimming impossible. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious although limited in choice. I understand that everything in Mykonos is overpriced because of the tourist trap quality of the island and the Mykonos Bay Hotel is no exception. You are paying premier prices for budget style rooms.
