“Wonderful Surprise”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

Our recent stay in at Mykonos Bay for our group of 13 was incredible! We were picked up at the harbor by the Owner Nick and Team and whisked off to what proved to be a beautiful property just the right distance from the center of town. We were greeted by Panos and his Staff with a cocktail and a smile. Rooms were clean and spacious, pool was inviting and beverages were shaken not stirred :) Definitely made it on to our list of places we will return to. Efharisto!!!

Perfect location with the best ever service & staff...close enough to Mykonos town, but peaceful enough for relaxing & good sleep.
Fantastic pool area right next to the beach, so the best of both worlds... Trustworthy arrangements for motorcycle hire.
Thanks Nikos for collecting us at the airport & dropping us off at the new port...

Mykonos Bay
Our stay at Mykonos Bay Hotel was everything that a Honeymooning couple could ask for in a Grecian hotel experience. The facility and guestrooms are well appointed on a large beautiful piece of beachfront property overlooking the Aegean, with a beautiful salt water pool for relaxing at all day long. The hotels location makes it an ideal place to stay for accessing other parts of the island by foot (Ornos Beach 25min walk and downtown Chora 5min walk). While the hotel is great it is Mykonos Bay’s staff that truly set it apart from the rest. Everyone from management and reception, to the attentive breakfast staff through maintenance, all worked to make our stay personal and memorable. If my wife and I are ever asked where should one stay when visiting the Island of Mykonos, the answer will always be MYKONOS BAY HOTEL without question, 10-out of-10!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on an upper floor.

An amazing hotel with very attentive service, twice daily room serving, fresh local breakfast with incredible views over the grass lawn, beach, bay and sunset.

We drove around most of Mykonos and couldn't find anything similar with its own beach and walking distance to town.

The grounds and buildings were immaculately maintained with the traditional white wash and soft pastel colors. We never felt crowded and there were always chairs available by the pool.

At 12 euros per pop, the cocktails were a little on the expensive side, but if that's the worst thing I could think of, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: We had room 29 which was on the ground floor, with direct access from the balcony to the grass, to t...

The first thing that struck me was that the garden was totally unkempt. The grass was overgrown and looked like it hadn't been cut for ages. This is unacceptable for a supposedly four star hotel. The couple in the room next to us complained about the same thing It marred the view from our balcony.
The rooms are small and very basic. With luggage there's hardly room to move around. The bathroom/toilet is tiny You can't take a shower without flooding the whole bathroom.
The beach in front of the hotel compares poorly with beaches on the other side of the island. There are no beach umbrellas and the area is windy. The water is not as clear due to the fact that it is not as sheltered.
On the positive side the hotel is close to town, a 15 minute walk

The goods (Actualy greats)
1. What can I say, right on the water, not up on a hill looking at the water.
2. Awesome Pool and pool bar. (And I don't drink)
3. very short walk into Mykonos
4. great service with their "go out of their way to help you" attitude

The not so goods (But not out of the norm)
1. Rooms are a little small for 3, but comparable to most I have seen and it worked for us.
2. For those used to taking showers, get ready for a surprise at how Showers are done at most Greek hotels, hand held shower head and very small baths.
3. Beds are very hard, again similar at all 5 hotels we stayed at across Greece. Wish our room had a double or queen and Twin instead of 3 Twins. Couldn't really push the twin mattresses together without a gap in the middle.

Awesome hotel right on the water as mentioned ,but to show their willingness to go above and beyond, the hotel didn't stock washcloths, and after we asked for one, the next morning one showed up in our room with the tags still on it. They went to town to purchase one for us. Breakfast was more than plentiful with more choices than I could even try. They picked us up from the port, and took us back with their private shuttle, and treated all guests like they were their most important customers.

Room Tip: There were no planned activities for kids that I am aware of.

We loved the Mykonos Bay Hotel! It is as beautiful as all of the pictures that you see on their website. The service is exceptional from the minute they pick you up at the port. We were picked up by an older man, who when we got to the hotel was greeted by his grandchild yelling Papou! Papou! I knew from that moment on that we were staying at a nice family friendly place. We were greeted at reception with a homemade lemonade type drink and a young woman who went over the map of Mykonos for us pointing out all the beaches and highlights of the island. Our sea view room was very nice with a balcony with lounge chairs. We ordered room service several times. The food was very good and delivered with-in a few moments. All the staff were very friendly and always smiled and greeted you. Everything was immaculate! They made up our room in the morning and turned down our bed at night. We felt pampered the whole trip. The hotel is within walking distance to the town. It took us about 20-30 minutes to walk to town, as we always had to stop and look at something along the way. The hotel reception ordered taxis for us and helped us rent a 4 wheeler that was delivered to us at the hotel. They even came and picked it up when we were done. The breakfast was delicious. It had the traditional Greek Breakfast, American Breakfast and what I call the German Breakfast, with all the meats and cheeses. The only negative I would say about breakfast was the music they played. It was quite frenetic, not relaxing. Their breakfast room was small, so I'm guessing they did this to get people in and out instead of sitting for a long time. The view was amazing from just about every place in the hotel. The pool was clean and beautiful. I love this place! We have been home for 2 weeks and I miss Mykonos Bay Hotel already!

Room Tip: I gave only very good to the room (room 40), as the bathroom was a step down and a little dangerous...
