We had fantastic service at Kounelas Fish Tavern, but we found the portions to be small, the seafood over cooked and the meal was over priced. Overall, great service but not the best value for money.

Go for the terrace area, it's very nice! Ask for fish you will choose it in the kitchen. The prices are fair and you get pretty good quality and tasty food for your money. Only thing that could be better is the music, they should go for simple Greek music instead of Enigma etc..

The service was outstanding, the fish was fresh. Beautiful location in an alley way - sheltered from the famous winds which decided to blow the evening we ventured there.
Waiters were attentive and friendly.
Best value whole fish!

140 euros, 3 people, 3 over cooked small fish, 1 under cooked calamari, 2 beers and a bottle of water.

Sorry the big fuss about choosing your fish from a cold drawer for us was not worth the visit.

Have had way better seafood throughout the greek islands, usually paying between 13-20 euros for the same fish.

We ate at Joanna's Nikos Place and in had better seafood at much more reasonable prices.

Am prepared to pay high prices for lunch or dinner, just expect to receive value.

Service was very slow and unorganised.

Sorry this place is did not give us value for money.

Recently had dinner here this past Friday (Aug 31), and despite the fact the restaurant was very busy and booked we were seated at a nice table in the upstairs dining area. We enjoyed a beatifully grilled Red Snapper, boiled Greens and a salad. Delicious. The waiters were very nice and helpful and we had a wonderful conversation with our neighboring table.
