I was so impressed from the moment I stepped into this hotel. The kind and pleasant staff offered me fruit and drink before they even asked for my name. The hotel is located perfectly- the view is breathtaking with the sea and windmills from every window, and the city is a very short and very beautiful walk away. The rooms are equipped with all the facilities , beautifully decorated with great attention to the little details (like sound prof windows, electrical sockets in all the right places, 24 hours of kind and pleasant service and more), and everything is super clean and white and inviting. I fell in love with this hotel, and if you still can't tell I highly recommend it :-)

The hotel is located at the top of Mykonos town and has beautiful views out over the town and harbour. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating of all our requests (even the more unusual!), even pre-empting some such as taxi bookings. Breakfast is a delicious selection of local and homemade foods.

I stayed at PortoBello with a group of friends in early May 2014. We found the hotel to be absolutely lovely - well equipped rooms, amazing views and the most helpful staff I have ever come across - they really went out of their way to make our stay incredibly special - nothing was too much trouble! I would recommend PortoBello without question and will certainly stay again!

We booked a classic room with the city view. Indeed, it did not disappoint. Felt great just looking from the window.

The location is awesome! There is a flight of stairs to walk down and viola! You can start shopping! There is so much good eating places around. Eva's garden, Caesar's (both great), sakis (for cheap lunch), M-eating etc. And of course, once you're in town you can get to anywhere within minutes. It's a small town after all.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us booked a car and managed to ask for a few hrs of extension so that we can drive to the port with our luggage (this probably will not happen if it's the peak of the season). The rate is 35 eur for 24 hrs and 5 eur for extra insurance.

Once you drove out of the hotel, turn right and drive to the left up a slope where it leads to you to many beaches. The map is not very helpful though. Just watch the Blue signage as advised by the staff.

Breakfast was ok, very basic. When you reach your second time having breakfast with them you probably get abit sick because there is no varieties. Maybe they should change it up a bit.

Room is clean and quiet. It's a bit small but no issue.

5 stars for the location and helpful staff. We got a slightly late checkout at this period and I really appreciate their flexibility.

This boutique hotel is very nice and has an excellent location and service. The views of Mykonos, especially during the sunrise and sunset are impressive. The hotel staff staff, particularly Anna and her mother, are very kind, helpful and amicable. They even shared with us the recipe of their delicious orange marmalade. As other reviewers have already pointed out, the facilities are well maintained and clean, breakfast is delicious and the staff is extremely efficient. We stayed there three nights and would come back without any doubt!

Room Tip: Definitively pick a room with sea view

The hotel is very pretty, clean and has awesome views of Mykonos town and the harbor as well as neighboring islands. The staff was over the top helpful, and a shout out gentleman at the desk for tipping us off to Psarou beach (which was AWESOME!!!). The room was bright and comfortable with a living room separate from the bedroom. The amenities were modern and clean.
The breakfast was delicious and several items were baked/cooked minutes before we ate. Really great fruit tray.
The hotel is very convenient to all of Mykonos town. We did take a cab to Psarou beach and it was perfect. The hotel calls for the cabs. There are lots of steps so for the elderly it may be a challenge. But all baggage was handled by the staff, so you only have to manage yourself.
It is a quiet place, a bit removed from many of the bars and restaurants but such a close walk that you can enjoy and then escape back up to the peacefulness of PortoBello.
