“Great accommodations!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2012

From the minute we arrived, the hotel staff was hospitable and made us feel right at home. Hotel staff assisted us with all of our luggage right away. Location is great and is short walk to town and bus stop. View is gorgeous. Our room was small and simple but very clean and just what we needed as we were only there to sleep. The room included a small patio, safe, working A/C. We would stay here again. All of the staff here is top notch and super helpful!! Price is reasonable, includes breakfast.

Hotel is locatedin the top of Chora, there are some stairs (choose the right one! some of them have more stairs that the others)
Anna upgrated us to a suite with a wonderful view of Chora with the sea as background
Breakfast was generous and they made whatever you want, there was helpful people checking that everything was fine.
Thanks both Anna's for everything! it was just one night but it felt like a pleasant week!
I would definitely stay here if I visit Mykonos again.

The location is perfect! Easy access by car and two blocks away from the beautiful shops and restaurants of Mykonos Town. The view from the room and the lobby is wonderful! Be sure to watch the sunset sitting on the desks of the hotel lobby.

The hotel design is beautiful! All rooms are tastefully decorated.

The service could not be better. The staff is super friendly and does everything to help you. Indicated good restaurants, best beaches to go on (because of the wind), guided on the bike rental and even phoned my hotel Santorini trying to postpone my reservation (because of the wind was going no ferry to Santorini). And offered us early check in and upgrade free of charge.
The breakfast is also excellent.

I find it impossible to say anything negative about the hotel.

We stayed at Portobello for three nights (2-July to 5-July) and the first impression you get is the pristine cleanliness and detail to interior design that this hotel has to offer. The breakfast bar, reception area and rooms are all exceptionally presented. The rooms give you a similar experience and the attention to detail goes all the way to the quality of shampoos and shower gels offered by the hotel. Special mention needs to be made about the quality of the staff here. Eleni's culinary skills and hospitality are first class (amazing breakfasts were served during our stay) and the helpfulness by the two front desk managers (both named Anna) on all our queries made this stay very pleasurable and memorable. Well recommended - Portobello will not disappoint.

I stay normally in 5 star big hotel and after a rough start at Four Season and Hiltons picked this place just off Tripadvisor comments . The staff are amazing . We arrived at the dock to find no taxis , so rang the hotel . Within minutes they sent a car to pick us up , no charge ! . Well that was only the start. the girls who host are lovely , the place beautiful . The house keeping was the best of any place I have experienced . Faultless staff and price . Dont go anywhere else . Pick a room with view and pay the extra . Amazing sunsets and easy walk in the cafes and shops . I will return and its miles above the 5 stars for hospitality , value and amenity . regards Nicholas Salt

We stayed at Portobello for a week and I don't have a tiny single thing to complain about! This was one of the best hotel experiences - and I did quite a bit of traveling. So, everyone writing these positive reviews about this hotel and saying the staff was doing an excellent job were 100% right, they make you feel like at home.

The location of the hotel is quite optimal. It's not in the middle of everything, yet go down the steps and you're in the city center. Just a word of caution: If you have trouble with steps it might be a little difficult since there are about 40 steps to get to the city center. But if that's not a problem, don't miss this!
