Having fallen foul of a villa booking scam we were rather nervous making another booking but we needn't have been.
Rita, the owner, was excellent in all aspects, from the initial enquiry to meeting us at the villa on our arrival.
The villa is very spacious for 8 adults, 3 upstairs bedrooms, one with en-suite, and 1 basement with en-suite, being ultra critical the main bathroom is ready for a refurb but this didn't spoil our stay at all.
Everywhere was spotless and the communal living areas are like new.
We read some comments prior to us travelling about the pool being dirty, the pool did get bits of palm tree from a neighbouring property in it but during our stay the trees got substantially trimmed back reducing any bits to next to next to nothing, the pool guy comes twice a week if this isn't frequent enough for you there is a net in the pool house, it takes less than 5 minutes to go round with it, not too big a sacrifice really.
Yes, there are only 5 sun beds but very rarely were we all laid out at the same time, plenty of seating and room for lilo's though.
Lots of home from home comforts including dishwasher and TV, which came in handy for the early afternoon World Cup matches.
Good location as advertised, 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants, with various bars en-route.
Overall, excellent holiday.
Location is excellent , Rita the owner responded quickly to a few issues we had , not major just, more towels, cups and how to work TV. The place was clean, but could do with refreshing the decor, the bedding was clean, but again could do with updating. There was only 5 sun beds and there was 8 of us. also you couldn’t have more than one shower on at a time, we were 8 ladies trying to get ready together took a while.
This villa in El Duque / Costa Adeje is in a great location and very well appointed. There was plenty of space and even two fridges!. We have been to this area on numerous occasions and would certainly be happy to book this villa again.
We had originally booked another accommodation via airbnb and were let down when the owner cancelled 8 weeks before we were due to travel. The booking process through holiday rentals was easy and the communications from the owner were excellent so we were put at ease that all was fine.
Nice area as first time in El Duque, Rita was there to meet us with a keys and a quick explanation of utilities etc.. I commented on the pool as it looked a bit grubby but Rita sent pool man round the next day :) Unfortunately one night we had a power failure as we think one of the outside lights fused as had no lid on! bit freaked out as no instructions on whereabouts of fuseboard, dealt with next morning as could see and it was found in the garage. I will enclose some pictures as alas as with a lot of spanish properties some things a bit shoddy! No door on tumble drier (being picky so management company picks it up and repairs) towel rail fell off into my hand in main bedroom, a bit dirty underneath settee as we moved it to sleep on in sitting room, loads of rubbish in drawers etc.. sounds like im being really picky but paid £1250 GBP pounds for one week. Oeffo needs upgrading and cleaning properly for the money. Overall enjoyed the stay but thinks it might be helpful to have a folder with information in like where's the fuseboard, how to use cooker etc..
