Again the owners to this establishment have changed but I must admit this time for the better . The current owners are exceptional .Their customer service is first class . Food was cooked fresh and really tasty . Plenty of variety of home made good quality produce .. we will definitely be visiting here again during our holiday .. we wish the new owners the very best in their new venture

We went for a meal at lunchtime, the restaurant had only been open 3 days following new owners and a refurbishment. The English breakfast was excellent and accompanied by a nice pot of tea in China cups. As we were the only ones in the service was excellent as you would expect and we were made to feel really welcome. Wish the new owners every success in their new venture.

Having read good reviews we decided to find this place on one of our many trips to Tenerife. We found it fairly easily . It is away from the sea and touristy area. As it was a hot day we sat outside. There were about 8 tables outside and people were sitting at all of them except one. None of them had any food. After about five minutes a young waiter vame out with tea for one of the tables. He then went straight back inside. After another 5 minutes ( we were all looking around at each other) I went inside as I thought perhaps you had to order inside. There were two other members of staff behind the counter. It was really lovely inside. There were two other parties inside (2 + 3). I helped myself to a menu abd went outside again. We decided what we wanted but still no one came. One of the other tables sent someone inside, came out, looked at their watch and all walked off(4). I went to the loo while we waited ( which was lovely). However when i came out still mo one had been near so we got up and left. As did another party. We waited over 20 minutes and despite at least 3 staff being on duty, no one came near. Will not bother going back.

Thank Beverly C

Dear Beverly C

I’m so sorry to read your review but feel you have made an error.

First of all the details you have included in your listing regarding the establishment you have visited is not Millies. We have no space or have any seating inside for example and the only staff are owners.

Second Millies has been closed since the first week in April as it is now under new ownership and is currently undergoing refurbishments ready to open at the end of May.

However I do have a feeling that you have had similar experiences to which I have had and witnessed in similar establishments to Millies and in some cases like yourself have got up and walked out after patiently waiting.

With our experience in catering and management along with our passion and detail for making cakes of all types the New Millies will be operated with total customer focus and real homemade English ingredient cakes to absolutely die for.

We hope next time you are in the area you can come and see us at Millies English Tea Terrace after we have opened at the end of May.

Best Regards
