I though I'd already reviewed this but I haven't do sorry for the late review.

We were really impressed with this hidden gem. We stayed in villa Flor which was really private. Yes we could see the road but traffic was sporadic. There was more "noise" from folk hitting balls on the driving range :).

Breakfast was fab. We also had the al fresco dinner which was superb. Most of the courses were fish which I don't eat. We spoke to reception and they changed mine to meat - the main being a superb fillet of beef.

The staff were friendly and really helpful. This includes all the staff we encountered. Special mention must go to the waiters - Mike and Jorge.

We had the couple's spa treatment which was devine.

We loved our stay and are returning in October.

From the minute you arrive it's luxury. We stayed in a duchess villa it's a massive 2 bedroom with big pool. The fridge & minibar are stocked with around 20 different wines & champagnes, loads of juice beers & spirits. Breakfast is included they don't do lunch but you can have room service. We stayed for 5 days & our room service & food bill was €300 that was after we bought loads from the supermarket. It won't be a cheap holiday but if you've got the money it's pure luxury

Wow, just perfect I could not find fault with this little piece of heaven if I tried, after reading the reviews before going I have to say I was concerned about the road noise, OMG some people just really can't be pleased, yes there is a road but if your in that hotel listening for cars you have serious problems. We stayed in Villa Ruby a Gran Duchess Villa she was just perfect the attention to detail is amazing, bvlgari and chopard toiletries, fridge full of goodies, wine cabinet, free wi fi, tv dvd, and the beds.... I had the best sleep I could go on the staff are impeccable, champagne on arrival, champagne at the breakfast buffet, really and truly a genuine 5 star venue, we go to Costa Adeje every year and have stayed in most of the five stars over there but this is by far the best, you do need a car but we really enjoyed getting a car and being able to explore, we are going back in August for ten nights with our children, and I can't wait :)

My husband and I stayed in Villa Jasmin at the end of April for 10 nights. I was sceptical about Tenerife as I had never had the desire to visit the canaries, however based on the short flight time, no time difference and pretty much guaranteed sunshine it was a risk I was willing to take. We opted for Royal Garden Villas as we prefer to be self sufficient (we went for the B&B option) and the previous comments on TA all appeared on the whole positive. I was not disappointed with either the accommodation or Tenerife as a holiday destination.
As previously described each of the villas are bespoke and all face overlooking the golf driving range, the mountains and coast, with a local road running below the accommodation which didn't particularly bother us. Villa Jasmin is on the upper tier (the same as the reception and the main pool), which would appear to offer wider views and being that bit further away from the road. Villa Jasmin was very well appointed, with a lovely terrace, a plunge pool just long enough to manage 4/5 strokes, and 2 double day beds as well a sun loungers. The main bedroom upstairs had a fabulous bathroom including walk-in shower, bath and his and her sinks. Outside the bedroom was balcony with an outside bath!
We opted to hire a car from the airport - this is a must as the accommodation is a distance from any amenities and gave us the option of travelling the island too. When arriving go to the large wooden door on the roadside and the staff will take your car to the garage for you - we spent ages trying to find a way to drive in - there isn't one!
As we only opted for B&B we cannot comment on the evening meals, however we felt the breakfast available was excellent and if you wanted anything cooked to order you could. There is a hot buffet which is replenished through out breakfast service and sits on a hot plate, we always found our food hot enough - we were often at breakfast by 8.30/9am. The choice of fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, yoghurt's, cheese, meat etc was fabulous and provided the opportunity to try something different everyday.
Eating out we would either go to the small fishing village at the bottom of the hill to the rustic tapas or Rosso sul mare being our favourites or into affluent Caleta. I also cooked a couple of times which was a nice option to have when you didn't feel like venturing out of an evening.
During the day we often drove the car to Caleta and park the car behind the Riu and walk along to the beach, which is superb for swimming. We would hire the sun-loungers which aren't cheap 25 euro for 2, but worth the shade and comfort, and with the sun not going down until after 7pm (April) we made a whole day of it. Each evening the hotel would make recommended trips, having the car we took advantage and used their recommendations but at our leisure.
If we had any criticism at all, it would be the location of the bar and restaurant, both are situated on the lower level and are completely enclosed - with such lovely surrounding views and great weather its a shame this cannot be enjoyed whilst you have a drink or eat. They do offer an alfresco dining around the pool once a week, but this had a limiting menu and we thought a bit pricey 55 euro pp. Consequently, we never went to the bar - choosing to have a nightcap on the terrace, but its a shame as they're missing a great trick here.
If you want something that little bit special, happy to be independent, and don't want night life on your doorstep then this is worth every penny. We're planning to come back in September.

Room Tip: A higher level room ie on the same level as the reception is that bit further away from the road.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Can I just take this opportunity to mention 2 small details. Please just drive your car to the door, there is no car park entrance as we are ready and waiting to park it for you in the Hotel Garage.!!..Also we are enjoying experimenting with our Cena alfresco so hopefully this will lead to more outdoor experiences!
Looking forward to seeing you again in September.
Kindest regards,

We are currently staying here at present. We read the reviews on trip advisor about all the road noise and I have to say I really don't know what you are talking about. Yes there is a road at the back of the villas it really is not bad at all.
We have stayed in many 5star hotels around the world in fact we were in Dubai only few weeks ago in a six star hotel and on comparison this has the edge.
The villa is luxury and very comfortable with all the little added bonuses you expect from a 5star hotel.
We are staying in villa Eden which is just a few steps away from the spa which we have used every day since we got here. We have two children with us a 10 & 8 year old. They are enjoying the splash pool on the terrace. Unfortunately the pool is not heated as advertised because ours is freezing!!!! The only negative I have about this resort is the food. The breakfast is limited and mostly cold. A few hot lamps would not go a miss to keep even baked beans hot.
We have been getting taxis down to the town of costa adeje where we have found some good restaurants to eat at. I would like to say the staff at reception are fantastic and so helpful nothing is a problem ( thank you Isobel) we will definitely be returning again soon I just hope they sort the food out by then.

Still in the hotel and love it that much we have already booked for next year - yes there is road noise, but there is also bird song, the whack of perfectly hit golf balls being hit at the driving range - if it's too much ( we have no issue) just go to the main pool. A joy on its own.

We are in a grand duchess (room Flor) and the sizes is like having a apartment with a 12ft outside private pool.

The area is quite with taxis to take you to the bright lights of playa de las Americas or to the wonderful fishing village of la caleta - it's a total star with everything you require from a villa with the joy of having room service.

The Decor beats most hotel rooms and villas with staff that can never do too much for you.

Well done Royal Garden, you have match some our favourite hotels across the world with a little bit of magic of your own.

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable and relaxing week at the Royal Garden Villas. The accommodation, facilities and the staff lived up to their 5 star rating.

We noted previous guests’ remarks about road noise in some of the villas. We checked directly with the management and they recommended one of the two bedroom villas which are set further back from the road. We had no issues with road noise during our stay and any noise heard in the villas closer to the road would only have been from a small number of HGVs during the day.

Our Villa, Jazmin, was very well equipped and spacious. We decided that we could live there permanently! The pool was actually long enough to swim in as compared to just a plunge pool. The pool did lose sunlight at about 4.00 pm but that was not an issue.

The small kitchen had everything you needed: four ring electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge. The fridge was well stocked with a good selection of white wines, beer, soft drinks and snacks. A range of red wines were available at the bar in the sitting room. All, of course, chargeable.

We chose to eat in one night and use the hob. We think we may have been the first to do so. If you wished to dine in but not cook yourself there is quite a good Room Service Menu. We had ordered a “Welcome Pack”, which at €30 was quite expensive but as we were unsure of the location of local shops, and if we arrived later than planned, we decided it was the best option.

Some previous reviewers had criticised the breakfast but we found it excellent. As well as the usual fruit and cold meats there was hot buffet. There was a note on each table saying that they if you wanted anything else, just to ask. We found the staff in the dining room very friendly, helpful and professional.

We had hired a car, not expensive, through Avis and found it essential. In the evenings a short taxi journey to the nearest restaurants in La Caleta cost less than €4.

We would be definitely like to return to the Villas.
