We stayed at this hotel for the new year. We stayed all inclusive and the bar area was very vibrant with singer outside at night. The drinks were OK but the service was sometimes biased towards paying guests. Our room was very good overlooking pool and had a large bed. I think I would stay there again but the food was nowhere near the standard we have had from same standard hotels in the area.

I have read some bad reviews about this hotel, so I have to question some of there expectations. I have stayed at this hotel before, perhaps eight years ago, so I had no hesitation in booking there again. The reception staff are helpful, the rooms are clean and well presented and the food in the restaurant was good, not haute cuisine, but then I wasn't paying a haute cuisine price for it. There is certainly no reason why anyone would need to go hungry. There are ample sunbeds and a "no reservation" policy for them, although the hotel should enforce this point as some sunbeds were "booked" by 10am and not used until after lunch. The downstairs pool was cool but bearable. The top floor terrace is excellent with twin plunge pools and an area set aside for nude sunbathing, which appeared quite popular. Not sure about the kids club or the entertainment, but there is a gym, massage area and a genuine Finnish sauna.

I stayed here with my husband for two weeks.Whilst the staff weren't overly helpful in general they seemed ok.
Our room was fairly spacious and kept quite clean,we overlooked a car park and the balcony didn't get sun until late afternoon, briefly, but it was very quiet .It was a shame the bathroom didn't have any storage space we had to spread things around the basins or on the floor. And I would not recommend relying on the hotel hairdryer this was the 1st time I have and it will be the only time.Neither is there a Laundry Service which is something I would expect in a 4* or a Doctor available, we were told we would have to take a taxi to a Private Hospital.
If you have problems walking I wouldn't want to stay here as it is quite a hilly area around the Hotel .The pool area can get a bit noisy and isn't terribly spacious also only half gets the sun at this time of year + smoking is allowed in any area around the pool.Breakfast was ok but the coffee was awful, but it was at most of the places we tried. We only ever bought food once at the pool bar need I say more!
I would never recommend this Hotel .

Just returned from a week at this hotel on a half board basis, so glad it wasn't full board. The rooms are large and spacious and are kept scrupulously clean, as was the rest of the hotel - this was it's best feature. The rest of the hotel lacked character and the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly.
The food is very poor featuring a buffet which changes little from day to day. We only ate a light lunch and chose to go out in the evening for a meal.

we have just returned from a stay at this hotel. very dissapointed indeed. this hotel would be lucky to pass as a 2*. the lifts were always out of order. the ground floor pool was very noisy and got very little sun. the entertainment was terrible 3rd rate. the staff were miserable especially the reception staff. the hotel is only sprayed once a week on a wednesday to keep the cockroaches away, so by the time it comes to sunday/monday they are appearing all over the hotel when you go to reception to ask to have your room sprayed they laugh and talk in spanish and are making fun of you. the food is appauling, the chefs if you can call them that, have no idea at all they have no enthusiam or commitment or flair. in fact on several occasions we walked around the hot buffet and it looked just like "pig swill" was being served. the drinks at the bar were full of coke with a splash of white rum. how this hotel is rated a 4* we fail to understand because it only passes as 1* to 2* at the most. the only plus points was bed linen chanmged every other day, and the roof top pool so we were guaranteed the sunm. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MON EY GOING THERE.

Hotel Ok but could have been better, our kids are 10 and 12 so got bored quite quickly. Kids club was rubbish, but then for younger kids it probably would have been fine. Can't really comment much about evening entertainment as we did our own thing, new years Eve was good and there were fireworks let off at midnight on the beach which you could see from the hotel. The lifts were constantly out of order, and we had to wait ages sometimes or walk up the stairs (there were quite a few disabled people staying at the hotel, so this wasn't good for them). We opted for the all inclusive package but the food was a bit "samey" as my daughter put it., and we went out to eat a few nights just to have a change. Service wasn't brilliant you got served one drink at the beginning of dinner and then had to keep asking for top ups. Change of towel service was poor and was supposed to be done at end of the day at poolside, but there were hardly ever any clean towels and when you asked at reception for them, the staff were very "huffy" about it and said that we should have got them from poolside. Also found that when ordering all inclusive drinks, bar staff were a bit indifferent, but if paying for drinks they were charming. The pools were freezing and because of the design of the hotel and the low winter sun the main pool did not get much sun on it for long. However, Fanabe beach is a real gem if you like surfing. The surf was fantastic and so warm! We also went scuba diving at Los Cristianos which was fum, and Siam Park is a must (but do prebook your tickets otherwise you will have to queque (there is a free bus, but the cab fare is only 5 euros). Minumum height restriction at Siam is 125 cm (my daughter was just tall enough). All in all the hotel served its purpose, and most importantly it was clean, the food was edible and it wasn't particularly noisy at night. Place to eat? recommend Tony Romas Place for Ribs just down the hill towards the beach.
