Wooooow !! What a hotel !! Surroundings are superb and all the staff cannot do enough to make your stat perfect. This was out 25th wedding anniversary and they made every effort to make it special. Even when Thomas Cook messed up, they took the hit and made it right. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A total 5 star experience.

This trip was a late birthday gift for my boyfriend and all he can say was he absolutely loved the hotel and the freebies he got(free beers & snacks) which was included when I booked the room. We stayed in their Deluxe Room for a night and few nights in their Gold Level Outdoor Jacuzzi(which permitted us free access to their VIP exclusive areas). From the moment we checked in, to the time we left, there was nothing we can complain about. My boyfriend was so happy when he was greeted by a cat in the entrance of the lobby. We had lots of choices for breakfast, our experience at Vitanova Spa was lovely, and the Jacuzzi in the balcony that we enjoyed at night. This hotel is absolute perfection. The location is perfect as well since it’s near Playa Del Duque where you can explore different restaurants and to have a simple walk on the beach. In addition to the great staff they have, we we’re also able to request for a courtesy room where we had our shower since we had a late flight(free of charge). Please continue being the best Gran Tacande

It pleases us that you booked the Deluxe room for a night! Those rooms are perfect if you are looking for relaxation and privacy while enjoying a large, furnished terrace. Furthermore, we loved that you also booked our Gold Level Outdoor Jacuzzi room: this exclusive experience is made for you to discover the true meaning of what it feels like to be on holiday, especially after spending the night taking in the views from the comfort of your private Jacuzzi. Moreover, you have a Vitanova Spa visit included with the room, and we are pleased to read that you went and had a great, relaxing time in there as well.

Our location, as you wonderfully highlighted, allows our guests to enjoy not only our facilities, but also the beautiful, exclusive surroundings full of restaurants and the most exclusive shops. We are happy to know you made the most of them during your time in our hotel.

If you are currently looking at loads of hotels look no further. This hotel has everything you could ever need! Lovely service, amazing views, very clean, lovely food. We visited in November and was a perfect winter break. Very close to a lovely beach and bars/restaurants. Enjoy if you book!!!

It is great to know that our facilities exceeded your expectations! Gran Tacande is, undoubtedly, the perfect place to enjoy a simply unforgettable holiday in Costa Adeje. In addition, our privileged location, surrounded by everything a tourist may ask for during their vacation (shopping centres, beaches), is an aspect that makes Gran Tacande a hotel worth booking at.

Finally, it is great to know that you spent a lovely winter holiday at Gran Tacande. We hope to see you again in the future, whether on winter or not!

This was our second visit to this lovely hotel. Unfortunately this time we were disappointed with the standard of service. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 16.30. It was 70 minutes before we were taken to our room. With 2 granddaughters aged 3 years and 8 months this appeared an unreasonable amount of time. At dinner we had to request the high chair which was provided to be cleaned. In the morning I visited reception to request two piccolino pillows and to inform them of a couple of live cockroaches in the drawer next to the fridge. I was told a gel would be put down to get rid of the cockroaches and the pillows would be provided. On returning to the room in the evening neither of the afore mentioned had been actioned. I then spoke to reception again expressing my dissatisfaction and also informed them the sink on the left handside was leaking. Again I was assured these problems would be dealt with. In this call I also mentioned we had requested 2 large gin and tonics from room service over 1 hour ago and that I had spoken twice within the hour to room service regarding these. I received a call 1 hour 20 mins later from a customer service person asking what I wanted. I stated it was now too late as we were about to go down for dinner. David (member of reception staff)came to us at dinner and askef what had gone on. He went on to say that they were very busy and apoligised for the problems. We received the requested pillows, the cockroaches were removed and the sink was repaired. A complementary bottle of Cava was placed in the room. However the right-hand sink was leaking this time and we reported this....which was repaired. On our last morning at breakfast (07.50) I had to mention to a member of staff that there were no clean high chairs...to which he pointed out a cleaner and told me to go to her. Understandably I was not happy with this response. I then found the restaurant manager who appeared unperturbed when I explained one chair was covered in spaghetti and tomatoe sauce, another was sticky with chocolate and the fact I was told to ask a cleaner.Obviously all these issues places a major question mark on whether we would visit the hotel again. Such a shame as a lovely hotel.

First of all, the entire team of Gran Tacande wants to thank you for choosing us for the second time as the place to stay in Tenerife. In addition, it is a pleasure to receive reviews from our guests on TripAdvisor, therefore we appreciate you took your time to write this comment.

We are happy to read that our hotel is “lovely” for you and your family. The sun of the Canaries, together with the luxury and class of our refurbished facilities, are the elements that combine in perfect harmony to provide a 5-star experience.

It is a pleasure to hear that our technical service covered your problem with the sink in your room’s bathroom very quickly, we are glad they could easily solve it. Our problem-solving politics is very strict so our clients do not need to worry about anything but spending a luxurious, relaxing time.

It comes to our attention that you went through several inconveniences during this second stay at our hotel. It is a pity that the wonderful experience you had the first time you came here, which made you decide to visit us again, is now blurred by some isolated problems you had to endure in this occasion. For that reason, we would like to apologise for any struggle you had to deal with, we take note of them, and we guarantee you we will not let them happen again.

We are deeply sorry for the time it took our reception staff to cover your needs. As one of our personnel members explained to you later that day, sometimes reception may be busier than in other moments, but it is not an excuse for having our guests waiting for such a long time during a check in or while waiting for some request to be attended. Moreover, we understand that families with small children cannot wait that longer because kids become impatient and bored, therefore they may not be easy to calm.

Regarding the issue of the dirty high chairs, we apologise once again for that inconvenient: it should not have happened; we assure you it was an occasional mistake and it will not occur again.

Finally, we hope that your previous experience at Gran Tacande prevail over this occasion’s inconveniences. We will love to have you back at the hotel in the future to erase from your memory the unplesant moments of this last visit.

Since my last review the renovations have been completed, it is now back to its fantastic self. The rooms are all new and modern ( although bath by the bed not to everyones taste ) the pool area is now a beautiful area and the staff are still wonderful friendly and efficent, the breakfast choice and quality is exceptional, ( full marks to my friend Musso the chef, great guy ). The location is still fantastic just a stroll across street to the beach all in a smart and upmarket resort, we will be back next year, love it highly recommended.

Room tip: All rooms are good, we prefer pool view rooms

We are delighted you like our renovations, we know they are not easy to deal with, but we look forward to the result: if we want to strive perfection, sometimes we have to make changes so we keep a modern, comfortable, 5-star hotel.

Furthermore, thank you for highlighting the hard work of our wonderful staff, who have a crucial, extremely important role in the maintenance of Gran Tacande’s excellence. In addition to this, we want to thank you as well for underlining our splendid Zurrón Market Buffet and its multiple variety of the most exquisite gastronomic offer.

It is great to read that our recently renovated rooms and their furnishings, which create a warm, inviting atmosphere, were suitable for you. However, it is a pity that our new room distribution did not entirely pleased you. We take note of your comment and we will try to adjust our rooms to our guests’ needs.
