Looking through the reviews on this site was a bit apprehensive about coming here. It was a lovely hotel, apartments lovely and clean. Staff very efficient and helpful. Food basic but good, could have been presented better. Entertainment average but the animator made up with her enthusiasm. Would recommend this hotel, good value for money. Weather awful but had a very nice holiday

Enjoyed a week at Playa Olid. Big clean rooms, lovely staff, very good location. Food was good & could always find something, good selection. Great to have the bus stops right outside, area was a little hilly but not a problem. Would happily return anytime.

Room Tip: Not all rooms are accessible by the lift, if you have any health conditions make sure you mention th...

For what I paid for this holiday £400 for a week all inclusive inc flight booked seat transfer and luggage I can't really complain. We had a newly decorated room with seperate living and kitchen area. TV with English channels which was great for the bad weather we had. Impressed with how nice comfortable clean and spacious our room was. No air conditioning but in nov/dec we didn't need it. Cleaned 5 days out of the 7 which was enough. Extra towels left for the days they didn't clean. Downside to where the room was that there were quite a few steps to get to the room even after we had to use a lift down to the room then to climb 15steps to get to the room made no sense. We were by the 2nd pool which was nice but at night this was unlit so we had to walk to the main area of the hotel down stairs in the dark. Food was repetitive but no different to other all inclusive's. Plenty of choice as long as you didn't try to eat a bit of everything each meal. At home you wouldn't have potatoes pasta and rice all in one meal so why do it on holiday. Not a bad location short walk to the seafront although coming back is uphill. Short walk to the back of the hotel takes you to shops and bars. Close to Siam park we walked it. I probably wouldn't come back because my next holiday I need a more child friendly hotel regarding food and entertainment.

Room Tip: We didn't pay extra for a newer room maybe just lucky. We were by the 2nd pool far from receptio...

Booked all inclusive at this hotel in mid November. After reading the reviews here, I became slightly worried. We traveled as a group of 4 adults in 2 rooms. We were given rooms next to each other, both got the old rooms. Rooms were perfectly adequate, the only problem was a very bad mouldy smell in the wardrobe in our room. Our room was next to the road which was quiet at night but very noisy around 8 in the morning. I found the food average - pretty much the same as you would get at any of these hotels, eating out is cheap anyway so we went out for dinner a few times. All in all not a bad hotel for the price we paid.

Stayed again from 26th nov for what was a pretty dire week weather wise but enjoyed our stay, jobany is back! He brightens everyones day, very hard working but has time for everyone,as does maria, vassile, manuel, belen, esmarelda in the kitchen along with nelva, really do make the difference. Food choice is very good, always fresh & superbly presented. Rooms serviced every day & a nice touch this time was our bed sheets turned down sometime during the evening while we were out. Found a great bar down fanabe beach called the first & last, this bar deserves to do well, with vinnie fronting the entertainment with fantastic enthusiasm, get a bet on the horses during the day or a bit of karaoke & good live entertainment on an evening - the robbie williams night is fantastic, emma jenson very good as are Crush & IS with his soul night that everyone will enjoy. Really enjoy this hotel, well positioned, fantastic staff - we will be back in february with abit of luck - cant wait

Room Tip: You will pay extra for an upgraded room but there's no need as the standard rooms are perfectly...

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 7 nights and it completely exceeded my expectations! The staff are very friendly and funny, and obviously work incredibly hard. The entertainment was brilliant with a different act on every night, and being all inclusive we had all the alcohol we wanted to go along with it. The food was also very tasty and constantly topped up so they didn't run out of anything. Anyone complaining about the food must be stupidly picky because there was so much choice I wasn't there for long enough to try everything! 4 of the 7 nights were also themed which increased the variety. It's also all you can eat so you can eat as much as you can stuff in your stomach! The apartment was also large and clean with a lovely view of the swimming pool from the balcony. Also only a 2 minute walk away from the Siam Park free bus stop so a great hotel to stay in if you're planning on going there.
