just stayed at these apartments for 10 days, happy enough with them, location is excellent, rooms were good, although the bathroom is a wetroom with no shower curtain so pretty much everywhere gets soaked in the bathroom, food was of a good standard and plenty choice, entertainment was woeful in 10 days would say stayed and watched 2 shows the rest was poor and bar shuts at 11pm with most AI its 12,but all in all they are good apartments and well worth the money.

We stayed here for a week in May half term, nice apartments, clean, huge bed, nice big sofa bed, only small critisms are - no door on the little freezer and the bathroom smelt a bit of drains.
Good location - quiet but near everything.
Two nice pools, we prefered the quieter pool at the back.
It was our first time all inclusive and the food was fine, some days there was more I liked than others, but always plenty of choice - rice, pasta, chips, lots of salad then there was always a fish dish, usually a meat cooked on the hot plate and a couple of other dishes. I just missed eating out on an evening and am not sure AI is for us for that reason.
The drinks were good, cocktails were great! I thought being AI the spirits might be watered down/small measures - they weren't. We don't usually do the hotel entertainment, but we went to some of the shows and to be fair they were quite good, the snake and bird of prey shows kept the teenager interested and the magic show was good, belly dancer was ok, but after the first 5 min you've seen it really.
All in all would recommend.

Just back from a week AL at the Playa Olid, hotel suite was fantastic, very clean and modern. Food in hotel was typical AL food however overall was good, both bar and reception staff very nice and helpful. Entertainment was mostly for kids so not much for the adults so the bar was a good place to be.

Location is only a few mins from the beach, shops and plenty of restaurants should you choose to eat out!

The only issue I have was the young kids running about the restaurant with hot plates of food and drinks, not only a danger to themselves it's a danger to others!!!

Room Tip: Request a room at higher level as the views are fantastic

Booked this hotel and stayed 10 nights all inclusive with my boyfriend. Had a fantastic room, modern, spacious and very quiet with a nice view. We emailed in advance asking for a quiet room as we had read on Trip Advisor that some rooms that overlook the road were noisy. Balcony was big - nice to sit out on in the evening. Maid service was good, towels changed every day.
2 pools were nice - one is the louder pool where all the entertainment goes on (e.g. ping pong, water volleyball, water polo, fashion shows) and where the snacks are, and a quieter pool which was good for relaxing but the pool bar at this pool was open fewer hours.
Food was good. For breakfast there was fruits, pastries, meats, yoghurts, cooked breakfasts, omelettes made for you, and churros (these are a must with lemon and sugar, and caramel and honey!!). Lunch was probably my favourite, huge selection, salads, meats, and great desserts. Or if you prefer you could have a toastie/burger/hotdogs/chips at the pool bar but I preferred to be healthier. In the afternoon at the poolbar they also served pastry snacks. Dinner was also always very nice. The only thing about the restaurant is how close the tables are and how canteen like it was - not very romantic so I recommend eating out once or twice - some great restaurants on the beach front (Da Angelo's and The Winchester) do a 3 course meal for 7.95.
The location is very good, short walk to the beach, shops and bars. Wigan pier down the road very nice (they do great desserts) and they also do sandwiches for your journey home. Siam park bus stop is just down the road too.
Entertainment in the evening was mostly good, I am not too keen on animal shows and there was a fair few of those, but the others were good. Drinks were good too - the local gin was good - although I wasn't too keen on the cocktails as they were a bit warm out of a machine.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday, this hotel is great value for money and I would come back again if I was ever returning to Tenerife.

Room Tip: We had 509v, a refurbished room overlooking the quiet pool - was lovely!

I booked this hotel with Thomas Cook, All-incl., 10 nights and loved every night! Easy walk down to Fanabe Beach and everything on the front, good exercise back up the hill, only 10 minutes. The area is great and the room was fantastic. Modern and recently refurbished, the top floor deluxe room gave us great views to the back and main pools.

The pools were great but most of all I have to praise Magaly, one of the--, she built great relationships with everyone who participated in pool and mini games. Each day there was something to enjoy around the pool, most surprisingly a foam party and inflatable slide! Evening entertainment was fun, but do suggest to look around the beach front for other entertainers you may like more, rather than going every night.

Cocktails are not great because they come out of the machine and bar service varied, but normal drinks and staff were generally good. The food everyday was brilliant but you do want to go out some nights as the restaurant is very cantine-like and tables are only centimeters away from each other, giving no privacy.

You will have a great time here and definitely do Siam Park, the free bus is just down the road!

Room Tip: We e-mailed for the deluxe room, and consider it one of the best rooms, top floor, between both pool...

Just came back from a three week fantastic stay at the Playa Olid. The staff are really very helpful and friendly Zuli was outstanding. The hotel is clean and friendly close to the beach and with a bus stop just outside. Would recommend a 'Bono' card if you wish to explore using public transport. The hotel always has a really good selection of food at all meals. Rooms are spotless sheets and towels changed daily. Will recommend this hotel to my friends and will go back again.

Room Tip: Our room was above reception on the second floor overlooking the pool ideal for us. Room 204

Great hotel for 3 star- we stayed for 2 weeks, the entertainment was different the second week which we've never had in the past.
Food is good, plenty vegetarian choices, meats.
Overhaul, what can I say, everything about the hotel and location is great. Nothing to fault.
Airtours (Thomas Cook) rep Vinny was very helpful, always there when he said he would be.
Siam Park was free with Thomas Cook. We enjoyed it , went a few times.
Great holiday.
