We stayed here for 10 days all inclusive and was an excellent holiday, The food is excellent, so much to chose from, the rooms were very clean and spacious and the maids would clean them everyday with out fail. Nights entertainment was really good and the staff are so friendly and funny. Me and my family WILL visit again, was a very relaxing 10 days! Thankyou Costa Adeje Gran Hotel!

Our sixth visit and as welcoming as ever. Courteous and helpful staff. Clean, well maintained public areas and rooms. Biggest foyer you will ever see in a hotel. Regular entertainment was particularly varied and good this year. Will definitely be making a seventh visit.

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms facing the pool are the best, quieter and lighter. There is a pool on the roof als...

This is our 7th visit to this hotel. Staff are fantastic. How people can complain about food I don't know. Perhaps they like Mcdonalds or Burger King. There is food to suit every nationality and wine is very good as is the Cava. Very spacious hotel and convenient to go to Market and walks nearby. Love it. Already booked for Jan 2014. Costa Adeje Gran here we come !

This hotel had a lot to live up to as my mother, brother and sister in law have all visited more than once and like it a lot. Indeed, my mother accompanied my wife and I on this holiday, and my brother and his wife were joining, unbeknown to her, as a surprise half way through our stay.

My mother travelled on her own from Scotland and we travelled from Leeds Bradford and had requested that the hotel give us rooms nearby. So full praise to the staff for organising this and giving us adjacent rooms. Also, a big thank you to the staff for seeing that she was settled in and provided with room service before our later arrival.

First impressions count a lot and the reception staff were extremely courteous. This continued throughout our stay with all members of staff being very efficient and friendly.

And the rooms. They are huge. We had plenty of space for clothes, an extra-large bed and even going to the loo was a short walk! We had not requested a sea or pool view but were happy to look out onto the hills at the back which, if anything, was more interesting than a pool view.

The hotel is built on a number of levels, indeed, one of the pools is over the top of the huge foyer/reception, but this is an intriguing aspect of the hotel and one that made every journey to the restaurant a mystery tour for at least a few days. For instance, the restaurant is on floor 0 but reception is -2. I really liked this, as it made a large hotel seem even larger and more interesting.

The restaurant could get busy at times, but I found most people courteous and the only difficulty with the buffet style was deciding what to eat, such was the choice. Anyone that complains about a lack of choice is just plain wrong, so there! This is the first all-inclusive hotel that I have stayed at that has had lobster as a choice, and whilst staying at some all-inclusive hotels one often desires a steak, at the Costa Adeje Gran this was possible with the good choice of meats and fish.

Indeed, my only issue was the amount of food that I ate. I know I could have cut back but, hey, I was on my holidays!

Any issues? Only one and I cannot understand why this is allowed to be, but a safety deposit box was 2 euros per day with a refundable deposit. This is just plain wrong in a 5 star hotel and an all-inclusive one at that. I wasn’t charged separately for the TV in the room, or for using the fridge or even the bidet so why charge for the safe? It costs nothing to service and it should be simply part of the accepted facilities in ALL hotels nowadays.

Other than that, this hotel lived up to some very high expectations, the staff were exceptional and I would certainly return to the Costa Adeje Gran.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear look out onto the mountains which I really liked.

Just returned from 2 weeks holiday in the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel, Tenerife. Don't be fooled into booking this hotel thinking it is 5* because it is definitely not. Overall the hotel is fine, but certainly not 5*. Booked it thinking we could have a "wee" bit of luxury but this was not the case. Bedrooms big and large but could be doing with tea/coffee making facilities which this hotel does not have. Good location, all down hill, but a bit of a struggle coming back in especially in the heat. My husband went to the bar to get me a G & T, and I like a piece of lemon/lime in my drink, they didnt have it, so what does that tell you about 5*!!!!!!

Room Tip: When booking request a sea view, which is most definitely the best. We found the food at this hotel...

Thank you for the feedback. So sorry to hear that your stay with us wasn’t what you had expected. We deeply regret to know that at some particular time, you did not get lemon in your G & T. This is very unusual situation; lemon, orange and other fruits are always present in all our bars. We will clarify this matter urgently and put appropriate measures so that not happens ever again.
Indeed we have no tea and coffee facilities in our double rooms. If you have told us that you like to have this type of service we could find for you the best solution.
Once again thank for your time and attention.

We stayed for one week on a B&B basis. The food was wonderful and a good selection, however at times the restaurant seemed over busy, perhaps due to it being a bit on the small side. Rooms and common areas spotlessly clean, as were the pools. With wonderful views out to sea and along the Adeje coast, the hotel is in a fantastic location. A short stroll takes you down-hill to the beach, via an up-market shopping mall. Lots of lovely restaurants close by, very nice ones down towards the beach. Further along the coast you have the 'cheaper' shops (not knocking them, its just a comparison, ie something for everyone). A short taxi ride into Las Americas, or to La Caletta (Small fishing village) in the other direction. Entertainment in the evening was a bit iffy on some nights, which is why I didn't give full marks. Would definitely recommend and would also return.

We stayed here in July 2013 with our two son's and had booked two rooms. On arrival when the coach drove up the drive we thought WOW....When inside it was amazing....When booking in, the gentleman on reception informed us they did not have two rooms which was a dissappointment as we had booked it 10 month's previous and our son's are 18 and 19, the gentleman said he would give us the best room, within minutes are cases and hand luggage were taken to our room...Our door to our room was a double door and we thought no this cannot be our room...it was and wow wow wow it was amazing it was five minutes before we went out on our balcony's...we had four...the shock we got then...spiral staircase to the roof top with our own jacuzzi....The hotel is amazing, the staff are really friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile, the lady's on room service were lovely....We were all inclusive and we have stayed at different hotels in tenerife on this board basis but always ended up eating out most days....At this hotel you do not need to do that, the food.. you are spoilt for choice it is delicious , every meal was fantastic(breakfast dinner and evening meal),you might have to wait five minutes or so but it is worth it ( if you went to a restaurant you would wait longer) The cooks work so hard and they still smile they need a medal. The snack area we did not go to until the fourth day and we were shocked again it was lovely...The pool area is great you can sit and relax or lay on a sun lounger (towels always supplied)There was entertainment around the pool area during the day from bingo to fashion shows, our boys liked using the gym....there is a very large area for the evening entertainment inside and out....same place where you can have a relaxing coffee during the day ( we loved the fancy coffee with the delicate cake )This has been the only time we have spent most of our holiday at the hotel, it is a lovely walk to the marina about 20 to 30 minutes, we could go on and on about this hotel on how lovely it is,we highly recommend it... we already have to family and friends....We have been spoilt staying here and cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: We got upgraded and it was fantastic but we did get told from other guests that their rooms were jus...
