We booked this holiday as both of us have stressful demanding jobs, relaxing in the winter sun was what we needed. Dream Villa Tagoro, was more of a nightmare. We are both in our early fifties but very young minded however I do not appreciate being told I have to wear a neon blue bracelet for the length of my stay. The first sound I heard was "Agadoo", the first thing I saw were hoards of small children. But we grinned and thought somehow we were going to have a great time. Dinner was okay. The room we had was on the first floor, thankfully spacious not spotlessly clean and a bad case of ant invasion in the bathroom, no tea or coffee facilities but a fridge, sink and two hotplates. We asked for tea & coffee, we got two sachets of each, two cups and a pan! It had obviously rained the day before and as I stepped onto the balcony the drain had been blocked, I slipped on the tiles! I spoent the night in agony and went to reception in the morning, a taxi was booked for us and taken to the local hospital, I had fractured my wrist in two places! The holiday did not get any better, our villa was directly above the pool area, which was very small in comparison to the size of the complex and music was blasting out from early morning until late evening. We had to sweep the bed every night for ants. All-inclusive did not include our drink of choice but the Tenerife equivalent, of which they ran out of and did not replenish, the entertainment area closed at 11pm but an adults only bar was available, when open, but was not included in the all-inclusive package. TV was avialable but for english viewing a cost of 30 euros a week & 10euros for the hire of the remote. If it rained, and it did for 5 days, english channels were not available. Internet access was also charged. The only good thing was the food which was okay. Staff were friendly but not very helpful. I have been told they should have reported my accident in the accident book, but they didn't. Costa Adeje is a dirty, broken area, pavements cracked and litter everywhere. The towels and bedding were only changed every two days. This is NOT a 4star hotel. We have holidayed in lots of places and this was quite possibly the worst place we have ever stayed. If you have small children I suppose its good for their entertainment but if you are a couple looking for relaxation and a littel luxury, stay well clear, the photos do not reflect the true picture! Never again

Room Tip: Different location and different country!

My partner and i,travelling with another couple arrived at Villa Tagoro at 8pm ,reception staff were excellent ,all checked in within minutes, very helpful which gave us time to enjoy our evening meal the restaurant. Our rooms were bright, clean, and everything you would expect from a one bed apartment, very spacious and close to the pool.
We awoke the following morning in anticipation of a funfilled day of entertainment in the sun after our hearty breakfast, we were not disapointed.
There were so many activities to enjoy, shooting, archery, french bowls, table tennis, aqua gym, water polo, basketball and football if you felt energetic enough, the list was endless and the staff were excellent, they made you feel part of there family.
Even the shows in the evening where sometimes at other hotels it can be there downfall, Villa Tagoro impressed.
What more can i say but to thank everyone at Villa Tagoro for making our stay a truely special and memorable one!
See you next year!! Ken & Sam ,Jess & jason. x

Booked a late deal with Thomas Cook for Villa Tagoro. We got to the hotel around 3am in the morning they had a pack-up ready for when we checked in the night time receptionist was on duty he did not tell us anything about the hotel or meal times etc.
The room was kept very clean new towels and bed covers every day. The food was good with plenty of choice but could be better for vegetarians in the evenings there are two meal sittings 6 - 7.30 and 8 - 9.30 we were not told this and went for our meal one evening 7:15pm and was not gone till 8pm think it was the restaurant manager he was really stroppy with us and more or less told us that we have to leave the restaurant we spoke to reception who apologised. The evening entertainment was ok but it finishes at 11pm and you have to pay for drinks after that everyone soon leaves. It is a 15 minute walk down to the shops and the beach going down is ok but going back up is quite steep. I would visit this hotel again.

Room Tip: avoid rooms on the road side as there can be quite alot of noise

We had a fantastic week at the Villa Tagoro, staff were excellent as was our room,we were lucky to have a lovely wee garden to sit out after a hard day in the sun.The location is away from the nightlife but we still had a great time.We were able to walk down to the beach,go before the sun gets too high, walked back but think a taxi is better, the walk gave me a thirst so a beer was welcome. Our room was spotless and was kept that way for our whole stay.Garden was tidied daily,we had a minute,(literally) and we were at the pool, restaurant, bar or wherever you wanted as the site is so well laid out.The choice of food was excellent and it was nice to have food when we arrived as it was about 1am,nice cool beer and a feed then it was time for bed on the first day.Overall we were really pleased with our stay and could not fault anything at all.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a garden if you want that extra bit of peace away from the pool,we loved it.

We had a fantastic stay at the the dream villa. 2 adults 1 child travelled. On arrival the reception staff very polite and helpful quick check in which suits me. We had a 1 bed apartment beside the pool i was a little disappointed at first as i always love a pool view (but who doesn't!!) however no complaints the room was very spacious tidy clean and very cool, air con worked a treat. The balcony was huge the view was a shopping centre and maccy d's but we didn't mind what so ever we never spent much time in the room or on the balcony. The room was very quiet considering the being beside the pool and the shopping centre we slept like babies no noise what so ever. The only problem was the bed a bit uncomfortable but a sleep on a memory foam mattress at home and i would take my kitchen sink the lot on holiday if a could.

The entertainment staff are absolutely fab. Chicco made our holiday aqua gym is hilarious in the morning along with water polo. They start at 10 am with various activities both for adults and children. They do kids club midday which is fab the kids are out of the sun for the hottest hours. The kids disco is at 8.30pm and the staff are always entertaining and dancing with the kids. Always smiling and polite very child friendly. Then after the disco they have various activities or entertainment for the adults also child friendly.

The restaurant did serve broccoli, sprouts salami ham cheese for breakfast they also served chips but its a Spanish hotel which is all inclusive and is trying to cater for all nationality's. They served cereals, yogart, bacon, egg, sausage beans croissant etc They opened for lunch and served fish chicken pork fish finger chicken nuggets and all sorts of food. Not everyone likes all foods however you can eat out in Adeje, los americas and los christianos which is very cheap and either a short walk or taxi costing max 6 euro. The all inclusive is worth it if only for the drinks we had our moneys worth the first day again no complaints.

We are already booking again for next November for 10 days as 7 wasn't enough all and all a fantastic holiday. The hotel is due to be expanding the restaurant next year and many more improvements as the hotel staff told us, we cant wait to return next year to see if it can top our week at the dream villa tagaro.
