“Nice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013 via mobile

The hotel was nice, our standard room was large and spacious yet basic with a view to the neighbouring hotel so our balcony rarely got any sunshine. The pool area was great with plenty of sun loungers but the pool is very deep, this may not suit people who cannot swim well. Food was okay but birds flew though the restaurant on many occasions and chicken was uncooked. We ate in a nice restaurant opposite the hotel on our final night, we would have eaten here more often had we found it sooner. The hotel was a fair walk to the nearest bars and restaurants although it was a nice walk as its along the coast.

2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

My partner and I have just returned from a week at the Adeje Palace Hotel -5th/12th May 2013.
We arrived very early in the morning (0500hrs) due to a flight delay from Alicante.
Upon being giving our room on the ground floor we entered slightly tired to find the room OCCUPIED, turning of the light and quietly closing the door returned to reception to be given an unoccupied room which was first checked by the security person on duty!

The hotel itself is large and slightly impersonal, being in need of an update in the areas that we saw. The room we occupied on the ground floor was spacious with a large bed and view of the sea, very obscured by a large tree. The fittings were in need of refurbishment. Bathroom was satisfactory but once again in need of updating.

Food was of a very good standard with a truly outstanding variety of choice, regularly changed menu and helpful and friendly staff in the self service restaurant, really more of a canteen type than restaurant. The number of guests with small children that were allowed to run around by them self's has to be seen to be believed, It was truly bedlam in this place and virtually impossible to have any sort of a pleasant conversation and made the enjoyment of dining nonexistent.
Trying the "Privilege" dining with a discount of 20% because we were "Half Board" came to a total of €65 with wine. This was a complete waste of money due to the occurrence of a children's disco which started at 2030hrs for an hour and then Line Dancing plus disco for the rest of the evening until 2300hrs. As the "Privilege" dining area is outside and only a few meters away form the music area the output of the amplification is enough to vibrate the food of of ones plate! Once again not conducive to a nice quite and pleasant dining experience. We complained at the time to the dining supervisor and again to the official "Privilege" staff located in the reception area. We were informed that similar complaints have previously been received by other guests which were being reported to the management!

This is very much a hotel for family's with small children, that is NOT for anyone with the slightest interest in anyone else comfort, ability to enjoy there meals, or who cares about a restful and pleasant holiday, however if you are a parent with small children with not much care for others and the ability to let your "precious little darlings" run around and annoy others which seems to be the norm these days then this is the place for you. We found the French followed by the British to be the worst for complete unacceptable parental control.

As a couple who live on mainland Spain and one of us speaking fluent Spanish it is truly disheartening to have stated the above. In consequence we will never be in a position to recommend this hotel and rate it as the worst four-star type we have every stayed in.

Room Tip: Try to get one that is not already OCCUPIED!

Dear Client,

We thank you for the review. We are very disappointed to not cover your expectations and not get a very good valuation. Obviously we didn´t get it, sorry.

It shows that it is impossible to cover everyone´s expectations, but we are trying to get the maximum possible.

Just back from a great week in the Costa Adeje Palace. We had a really nice sea view room which was comfy and spotless (there are still a few rooms that haven't been updated but we were told they will be completed this year). We found the service throughout the hotel to be efficient and friendly, especially in the restaurant where we were greeted each day like old friends and our daughter really well looked after. The food was good quality with loads of choice and fresh cooked meat and fish on the grill each lunch and night. We didn't do privilege and didn't feel we needed to. The gardens were very nice the pools really good and there were lots of sunbeds. You can have the mini bar stocked but we popped over to the local supermarket to buy wine and water.
It's a great location with nice sea front walks and easy access to lot's of the islands attractions.

hi we have just come back on the 8th from a weeks holiday in tenerife staying at the H10 costa adeje palace.
the hotel its self was excellent and kept to a high standard at all times. I cannot understand why people are moaning about the food here as it is very good they have a different selection every day on the evening meal food ranging from every country. The seafood and roast meats they do are superb. I guess that because they are not providing burgers and kebabs some people don't like it !!! (ONE THING TO BE AWARE OF IF YOU GO HALF BOARD THE DRINKS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND YOU WILL SOON RUN UP A LARGE BILL) go all inclusive if possible.
the only downside to this hotel that i can say is its geared towards the FRENCH and they tend to dominate this hotel and i find them very annoying, loud and they have no manors what so ever but that's me you may have a different outlook.
i would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing break as its out the way but they provide a free shuttle bus to playa de las americas.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday experience in Tenerife. the weather was beautiful and not too hot.
Our room was excellent on 6th floor with side sea view. would recommend opting for sea view room on upper floor. Room well appointed with large bed, fridge and excellent bathroom.
As we love early morning walks this hotel is ideally located with lovely paved walks along seafront for miles towards Los Cristianos. Also shorter walk in other direction to La Caleta, a beautiful little fishing village. We found the food surprisingly really good as some reviews were very negative. We were half board and had a great variety of good food for breakfast and dinner.Every taste was catered for with a huge variety of salads ,fish, meat and vegetables.
Chefs were on duty cooking fish and different meats at dinner. Desserts were delicious.
Wine was expensive ,but a 500ml bottle of sparkling water wasE2.40.
Lovely pool area.Main pool was quite deep with no real shallow end, but there was a 2nd pool and kids pool.

Unfortunately the beach outside hotel was very rocky with black sand and is not used very much. There is a lovely beach a 10 minute walk to the left of the hotel.
We enjoyed the good quality, nightly entertainment which was on from 2130 to 2300.
The staff were efficient and friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean
We would definitely return again.

Room Tip: High floors for good sea view.

This hotel lies close to the ocean and just 10 minutes walk from tourist village with great shops and restaurants plus boulevard. Service there is very friendly and helpful. they have two or three swimming pools, great spa and outdoor bar with cocktails and snacks. Good choice of cocktails. Breakfast was nice- traditional continental breakfast plus spanish elements like spanish omelette. One minus is- we didn't take all inclusive so it was quite expensive. But we didn't stay at the hotel. Just going outside. Not too far from the hotel is one of the best aqua parks in the world- Siam Park. This aqua park is priority to visit if you stay in H10 hotel. You won't regret it.

Room Tip: Try to take room with sea-view.
