We have stayed in this hotel once before and enjoyed what it had to offer and its good position. This time we took the `Privilege` option (at an extra cost of £30 a day for 3 of us), that gives you certain extra perks such as a special lounge with free drinks and snacks along with internet access,a separate exclusive sunbed area with padded chairs and a sea view room with coffee and tea facilities.Beach towels are changed every day.

All the staff are excellent and work very hard to make sure your stay is a good one. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, with a bath and shower. Our room had a balcony that got the sun from midday onwards.

The only let down was the service in the buffet restaurant. Tables are slow to be cleared and re laid, the food was plentiful but not always of a good standard in certain areas. In my opinion, the restaurant is under staffed, as one waiter has to clear and lay tables, as well as serve drinks. One couple came back from the buffet to find that their table had already been cleared!

We would go back as we like the hotel overall, but would like to see improvements in the buffet service.

Room Tip: The higher you go, the better the room.

Just returned from an enjoyable short break with elderly parents. From the reception staff to the restaurant, piano bar, pool bar, pool towel man to the efficient cleaning staff nothing was too much trouble for these people. All were very friendly, polite and appeared happy in their work, always greeting with a smile or hola (or bonjour!). Although the rooms we stayed in were perhaps dated, they were clean and well prepared. We booked halfboard and found a fantastic variety of food available at both breakfast and dinner all of which was cooked and presented to a high standard.We were so pleased with our stay that we are already looking to book again (direct) next year and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good quality accommodation at what we thought was well worth the money.

A great stay at this hotel. As previous reviews have noted it is good value to pay the supplement for the privilege service. We found that the privilege area with its own beach was great. If you decided to go out for the morning there was always a space when you came back. The sun loungers were well spaced out so that all guests had some privacy. The cocktails and nibbles on offer made you feel like a special guest of the hotel. The a la carte restaurant had a good selection on offer and enabled you to get to know staff who then recognised you later and engaged in conversation. This gave you the feeling that there was a very personal service even though you were with up to 1000 guests. I used the services in the Despaccio Spa and found the sports massage very beneficial. All areas of the hotel were immaculate and the gardens were maintained to a very high standard. The inclusion of fountains and the background of the sea pounding the rocky beach near to the hotel gave an air of relaxation. Very little loud music was heard at any time in the day making for a very relaxing stay. Staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel.

We have just come back from a Easter break at this hotel. The hotel itself is lovely,the rooms on floors 6&7 are best as they have been re-frubished to a high standard and it's quiet. Pools were great and the outdoor heat pool was a big hit with my 6 year old. Lots of sun beds to choose from. The food at times was very average, massive variety, you could always find something to eat but the quality on the evening meals was poor very mass produced and the veg was cooked to death. Service was ok but as it's such a big hotel it was in-personal at times, the bar service at the pool was brusk. The biggest mistake I think this hotel has made is introducing the "Privelige Club", we paid all inclusive only to find that there is a grade up from this, so you feel excluded having paid for all inclusive. You can't sit on certain beds or in certain areas and at lunch time you are given a snack menu to select from which you then have to work out what you can and can't have. You could have the most expensive pizza but you can't have a tuna salad which is cheaper! You can have a very poor lunch buffet choice but you can't have the freshly grilled fish if your not in the "P" club. My little girl wanted sprinkles on her ice-cream which we had to pay for it the afternoon but at night she could help her self to these from the buffet area. I just found this frustrating when I had paid for all inclusive!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool or sea view on 6th or 7th floor

Lovely hotel and great location. Can walk out of the hotel along the sea front all the way to Los Cristianos if you like! Buffet food is great ' something for everyone. All inclusive was great, although next time would probably go Half Board to get better value for money. If you drink loads, then All Inclusive would be for you!!

Note: we stayed in this hotel in December 2011 so thing could change. ;)

We had reserved the H10 Costa Adeje Palace hotel from December 10th to December 24th. Let me say that I am very disappointed, as I expected much more. I am a regular guest in hotels with 3, 4 and 5 stars, but I have never been so disappointed. It doesn’t make any sense how this hotel can have 4*, it’s even less clear, why it is supposed to be the “Palace”. We were in room 483. Below you can find some argument to support my claim:
- Rooms:
o Rooms are the worst part of the hotel: beds creak every time one turns around, it is clear that the beds are old or just of low quality; sheets and covers are somewhere torn
o When you enter the room, as a welcome, there is an indecent socialistic metal table with green cloth; it would be much nicer if it weren’t there, as it is dirty, ugly and useless (I’d rather not say where I thought the hotel got it from)
o Furniture, but especially the armchair looks so dirty and neglected that nobody sat on it
o On three occasions, a cockroach paid a visit to our room; I inquired about it and I assume it was the German cockroach. Regardless that it was small, it takes away all the pleasure for staying at this hotel. I understand it can happen, but it is intolerable that it happens numerous times.
o The floor is scratched, ruined (especially floor rugs in the passage)
o Our room has not been cleaned two times in 14 days. I even did a little test once and left some sand in the tub, which the house-maid did not clean. I could only imagine how thoroughly they’ve cleaned the rest of the room. The bed was always made, that I can commend.
o The water tap in the bathroom has been falling off and had to be put back on.
- Food:
o The food was fair, but more appropriate for guests with taste for English food (especially breakfasts). The food was the same every day and since we stayed at the hotel for 14 days, we got tired of it. Other than that, it was fine.
- Staff attitude:
o The staff is available, but some of them give the impression as if they want to get rid of you as quickly as possible. The worst were those at the reception. When we checked out, I would expect a “Grazias, feliz navidad” and not “Thank you, that’s it.” However, the attitude of house-maids and those who work in the Room Service was very kind.
- Internet:
o The hotel also promises free Wifi. However, what we had was not Wifi, as the speed is merely 0,09 Mbytes/s.
I think I stated enough reasons of my discontent. When I returned from the vacation, I checked the Tripadvisor.com and was sorry that I didn’t see it before. I sincerely hope you will at least for future visitors eliminate at least most obvious flaws.
I don’t ask for an apology, I ask for partial reimbursement of the sum I paid for the hotel.

We have just returned from a week's half board at the Adeje Palace. Every aspect of the hotel was excellent. No complaints whatsoever. We would go again and we would recommend. Didn't opt for the Privilege service.

Room Tip: Avoid ground floor near side of hotel car park.
