had a great week here at the costa adeje palace the food was overall very good with a varied varierty of food. the rooms were clean and well presented staff were very friendly and helpfull fully recomend all inclusive well worth it. the only down side is they require 100 euros deposit when you arrive as a security deposit but if you are on a low budget it takes alot out of your spending money. there is fee tours available but be very careful as not everything is free in life if you get offered a tour with PALS you get a 3 hour talk trying to sell you a matteress and a 45 minute tour of a market. otherwise i would return back here to the costa ajeje palace hotel.

Room Tip: there are rooms facing another hotel with no views

Stayed for 4 nights as part of a SAGA tour of Canary Islands. Room was spacious and very clean - excellent shower. Although a large hotel the quality and quantity of the food was first class and varied in choice each day. With warm weather it was possible to eat outside daily. The swimming pool was large and well maintained as are the grounds - the waterfall is amazing.
The evening entertainment could have been better and some occasions it was one man with a vast array of electronic instruments. The magicians were very good.
Via a security gate (room pass key needed) it was possible to walk along the sea front and even swim in the warm sea. The black sand was interesting but very clean.

There were several bars and restaurants nearby.

The breakfast experience is not to be missed, the staff are very friendly and the selection of foods are extensive to everyones tastes. The guests are in the main couples,so it was quiet and relaxing by the pools. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.Outside the hotel there is not very much to do but they do run a free shuttle bus to Playa de las americas otherwise a taxi.

Just returned from 10 night holiday at this lovely hotel, it is our 9th visit and is always enjoyable, the location for us is perfect, not too busy , within walking distance of a few bars (try Tiggys on the corner facing the RIU hotel) live music on most nights & good selection of beers, we have always found the staff at the hotel very smily & helpful particularly Augustine on reception & Norman maitre d in the dining room. One review said "Dont drink the coffee"in the dining room I agree it is not the best but breakfast in the pool restaurant is an option for guests & the coffee served in there is lovely, like most hotels the dining room is buffet service but the food is varied and plentiful there is always something for someone, good times of the year to go are March & October when the weather is perfect.

Room Tip: Rooms on 3rd floor or higher overlooking the indoor pool & italian restaurant are all great

We and our honeymoon here, luckily only for three nights. We was treated second rate at the reception desk, obviously because we were English not French or German like most of the other guests. English not allowed in for evening meal in strapless sandals, like other races. Food cold. Rooms sparcely fitted. Had to pay for indoor pool and gym. On the hole worst place we have ever stayed. DON'T GO THERE !!!!!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. If you want a wild time, stay nearer or in Playa de las Americas. Lots of families and popular with Spanish nationals and a lot Eastern Europeans, there seemed to be a lot of big groups in the hotel too.
Room was fine we were on floor 6 (floor 3 really as reception is floor 3) at back of hotel, clean and adequate, but why put one chair in room for 2 people.
Lots of hidden extras, such as safe in room, tea/coffee & kettle in your room. The upgrade option looked good to "privilege" but we didn't take up the option, due to added cost.
The food is awful. You can find something to eat, but the buffet isn't great and it's a bit of a "bun fight" in there. DON'T drink the coffee from the machines! It's foul, never had coffee like it in Spain, EVER! Coffee at breakfast was like dishwater.
We didn't try the a la carte restaurant and not 100% sure if you can opt to eat at the pool bar at night?
Not much locally, one bar, restaurant and supermarket across the road.
We walked about 30 - 40 mins (gentle stroll) at night towards Playa de las Americas, more bars a bit livelier and taxi back was about 6 Euros. Got to try the Moonlight Karaoke bar for a laugh!
On last day we found La Caleta. Out of hotel away from Playa. A small, sleepy fishing village, looked like some nice cafes, bars and restaurants. You'll need to walk round the road at night, but you can cut across the samll beach at side of hotel in the day.
Would reccommend a car, then you have greater flexibility. Last courtesy bus to Playa is at 1800, dinner doesn't start till 1900.
Took about 20 mins from airport to Hotel.
Would stay here again purely as a base, now we know the hotel and maybe opt for B&B and eat out at night.
Ignore all hotel rules most days all sunbeds were reserved and sometimes never used, very frustrating. Also I did object to trying to eat and people being allowed to smoke in the outdoor area of the restaurant. Both contradict notices around the hotel

Just spent week at this lovely hotel commencing 18.09.2012 being given a double room on the 4th floor with view towards La Caleta. Whilst a little noisy in the mornings with dust carts and deliveries this did not impact on our enjoy of facilities and room was spacious and clean. We took the all-inclusive package, via Thomas Cook, and whilst explained by the receptionist in brief, you do have to find out for yourselves what is included, especially with lunch and afternoon snacks.
Food was of a wide choice, although have experienced better at other 4* hotels in area (Jacaranda), and waiter service was attentive and polite.
Evening entertainment left a little to be desired with the compare liking the sound of her own voice and repeating what little she knew of other languages. The piano bar inside was little better with the same keyboard player who had been left behind by "saturday night fever" and a vocalist who certainly would not make it to boot camp. My wife and I took the gentler option of taking evening walks along the coastal path.
Overall a very impressive hotel with fantastic swimming pool and plenty of sun beds

Room Tip: Internal facing room will be noisy, external room facing west you will face directly onto Sheraton H...
