“Wonderful hotel”

Very nice hotel, big and impressive building in front of the sea with large, cleaned and confortable rooms. Receptionists and all the staff are very kindly. Two very large swimming pools, pool towels supplied by the hotel (with a deposit that they give back at the check out), minigolf, miniclub, bar in the pool. Good breakfast and good dinner with various kind of meat, fish, shrimps, wok, vegetables, gazpacho, pizza and a good ice cream. Piano bar and theatre with evening music shows. Three shops and a hairdresser inside the hotel. In two minutes walk you can reach the nice playa del Duque and some chiringuito, bar, restaurants in front of the sea while in 10 minutes by car you reach Playa de las Americas with the Casino and several bar and restaurants. Tranquil and nice hotel where you have all the necessary for a pleasant holiday!

We stayed for 4 nights all inclusive just shy of £500. The staff made you feel guilty for asking for anything in the bar and pool bar. We were not even asking for alcohol, even though we were all inclusive mainly soft frinks and coffees. We offered plenty of por favors, pleases, gracias and thank yous and none of this helped. The staff were just downright rude. We ended up eating and drinking out a couple of times because we just couldn't do with being ignored by staff and being treated with contempt when served. We don't have high standards at all but a smile and good manners cost nothing. Air con in room didn't work, roof panel in ceiling was bowed and ready to fall in and curtain was hanging off. Reported this politely to reception-nothing was done. As we are h10 club card holders we reported this to h10 club office, the curtain was fixed after this but not other problems in room. Food was ok. Pool area is nice and the hotel is clean.Definately would not stay here again mainly because the staff marred our break somewhat. very disappointing

this super hotel has excellent facilities,well located and best of all the food is exceptional.All meals are served buffet style,fresh and plentiful and overall our 1 week stay was just too short.Only 2 small niggles,the telephone in our room was broken and despite numerous requests to fix it ,this was never done. When we checked in we asked for a room not at the back of the hotel but the room allocated was already occupied, it was swiftly changed to a good room on the 1st floor which was ideal. We shall definately return to this hotel.Even the evening entertainment was good and a nice surprise each night.

Following on from my visit last March I visited the hotel again this month. Learning from my last visit I contacted them a month in advance to try to select a room. No I could not have the same room as last year but they could give me a free upgrade to a better one! Success!! The hotel was deemed full and their own website confirmed this but strangely I seldom ever saw anyone out on a balcony. I'm still confused by this.

I am also confused by the "Privelege" services which, having booked the appropriate room in the first place seem unnecessary. My H10 class card got the upgrade but at the expense of the bonus dressing gown!

There is a lot going for this hotel but it really does depend on what the individual wants. I like the location which is comparatively peaceful. The pool (middle one heated) and garden area is very pleasant. The rooms are nice and I think that all but the fourth floor have recently been given a makeover including the corridor carpets!

Food plentiful in both quantity and variety considering that, for example, a German will eat a totally different breakfast to an Englishman!

The staff were all friendly and helpful but I got the feeling that they could have done with a few more both in the very busy restaurant and also for cleaning the rooms which were often not done until afternoon.

The holiday cost £200 (£1300 HB ex MAN) more than the same time last year but a cafe con leche was a reasonable 2 euro and the house red a bargain at 8 !

Free wifi excellent on a smartphone but you now have to ask for a login at reception.

This ticks all the boxes for me for getting away for a few days after an English winter so will almost certainly be back next year too. Interestingly the shuttle bus from the airport has the benefit of going round several hotels enroute so you can see a lot of areas where you may not want to be!

H10 generally get my vote and this confirms it.

Monster hotel. Ugly. Difficult to differentiate between bed and board. Clean. Food abundant and well presented. Buffet meals.

We where on our first holyday with our kids one of them she has celiace . Thanks to there chef ( chinese) who spoke very well inglish . My daughter forgot ones of her problem. It's not easy traveling with this problem . Thanks again.

Oue only complaint was thart there were no mattresses on the sunbeds. The rooms and gardens were great. We enjoyed the breakfast but did eat out.
