“Best 4 star in Costa Adeje”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2011

This is a very good hotel, hard to find anything to criticize. Unlike other reviewers who have recently posted here, I think that the quality and variety of the food at the hotel is very good. I like fish & seafood and hardly eat any meat so maybe this suits me, but from what I've seen there is enough choice to suit different tastes. Breakfast is very nice, fresh bread & croissants, good coffee, don't know what's not to like.
The rooms are very spacious, we had one with a lovely sea view, so nice to sit down on the balcony and relax..
Any points that could be improved? They should offer free WI-FI, Internet access at the hotel is quite expensive (4€ for 30 mins). Also, the pools are quite cold, which on the other hand can be quite refreshing.
Overall a highly recommended hotel.

stayed in this hotel in Dec over the Christmas, very clean Hotel, and the room's are spotless, great views, lovely gardens, lovely staff. the only downside for us was the food, ok if u eat lots of fish, , salads were the same every day, not much variety of desserts, which we found were stale a lot of the time, and what was left over tonight was on the menu the next day as well, overall, it left a lot to be desired, as i said the Hotel, was lovely, pity about the food.

We have just returned from our second visit to this fabulous hotel and will most certainly be back again.

The Staff are all very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them you are really made to feel at home. Our room was very comfortable and like most of the rooms in t he hotel enjoyed a panoramic view over the resort. The food was excellant and varied with good quality bottled wine available on all inclusive for Lunch and Dinner.

We look forward to our next visit.

After reading previous reviews we too were concerned but these concerns were soon dispelled once we were in and settled. The room was roomy and clean but have to agree there could have been more drawer space. The views were stunning. Our first room backed onto the road which was noisy and the barking dogs on the banana plantation were irritating. We asked for a quieter room and were immediately shown 2 rooms without any problem whatsoever. We chose one over the dining room and paid the extra for the sea view which we did willingly for the peace and quiet, it was well worth it.

As for the food, we really don't know what the moaning people expect, as each day there was plenty of choice, admittedly fish was on the menu every day but so was salad, meat, pasta and pizza, what more could they have offered. As previous visitors have said, why did these people bother to go abroad, Blackpool would probably have been a better choice, where they could get their fish and chips and other British food.

As for the staff, we only encountered politeness and friendliness by all from the reception to the cleaners and especially the bar and waiting on staff who work their socks off, doing very long hours dealing with people who are frequently less than polite.

All in all we thought this hotel was good value for money and would certainly return.

Have just got back, and I have to say I would definitely go again. I just wanted a relaxing break and that's exactly what we got. A very spacious hotel, with large rooms and a lovely view from the well proportioned balcony overlooking the level 5 pool, with a great panoramic vista opening out before us to the sea. Getting a sun bed was no problem and we usually went onto one of the adults only terraces, not that children were a nuisance at all.
The restaurant always had plenty of seating and it was very rare to have to wait for a table to be cleared by one of the very friendly waiting staff. The food was varied and offered lots of choice for even the most discerning palate! Freshly cooked fish and meat were available alongside pastas, pizzas, salads and various other dishes of all nationalities.
Yes the hotel is built on the side of a hill, but this just adds to the character of the place. From most areas the views were great, and the gate halfway down the hill helped cut down the long walk back up to the top for those who wished to take a stroll down to the beach and shops.
This is certainly a place I would recommend, and I hope to go back myself in the not too distant future. For value it was one of the best, being all inclusive. 3 lovely meals each day (plus snacks available too if somehow you were hungry!), along with unlimited supplies of soft drinks, tea or coffee, and beers and spirits.
I booked this hotel online, with separate flights from Easyjet and the cost was probably a lot cheaper than booking a package to a lesser location. This is something worth looking at for any people who want to try out this lovely destination. Just type in the hotel name and go to the hotel site to see available rates.

When we arrived the reception staff were very helpful and pleasant,. sorted our safety box and deposit for towels (optional) which you get back. We had to wait about half an hour for our room but it wasn't a problem as we went and had a coffee on the terrace which had lovely views. We were very happy with our room. It was spacious with a huge balcony with a sea view (which was extra), Lovely bathroom and comfy clean beds. The hotel was very clean with young men and women employees sweeping even the fallen flower petals up on a regular basis. As is usual when you go to the restaurant for your first breakfast, lunch and evening meal it's alway a bit confusing, but you soon get the hang of it. The staff were really helpful. There was quite a lot to choose from every mealtime. Some people moaned about it, but you always get them don't you. We're not overly fussy people but we do expect cleanliness, good food and politeness which we certainly got. Some of the bar staff though were not always as pleasant though. It was as if they were just there to do their job and not to make small talk and socialise. There were not many British people there in October. Mostly Spanish, German, Russian and some French to but that was fine. The only thing was they say the beach is only 300 yds away but realistically it's quite a bit more than that. I think they mean 300yds from the bottom of the hill, which is pretty steep to walk. We went to relax, so the beach didn't worry us as we spent our days relaxing around the pools, which were lovely. We would recommend it for a relaxing holiday if you don't want to go into the town much. But it would be much better if wasn't built on that hill !!!

I completely agree with everything Jules1970206 has put in her review. It would appear we were at the hotel at the same time (for half term) so probably passed each other at some point! We had upgraded to a junior suite which gave a slightly more separate area for our little boy (age 7) to sleep in, aswell as a larger balcony which had 2 sunbeds aswell as the standard table and chairs - and were really pleased with it. The room (no. 228) overlooked the lower level pool and was really brilliantly located and had lovely views - however as has been previously noted elsewhere, you'd be very unlucky to get a room without a good view of one type or another. The pool on level 5 is the better pool for families - it is quieter and has a larger shallow end - our little boy has previously not been too fussed for swimming but lived in this pool for the entire week, with the exception of the day we went to the Siam water park which is a definite must visit and there's even a Siam Park bus stop about a hundred yards away from where the free bus service to and from the park runs. I also note that some reviews have complained that they only found out by accident that there is an exit to and from the hotel half way up the hill which saves the walk all the way up and round to reception - not sure why they didn't know about it as when you check in you are given a map of the hotel which clearly shows the exit located by the lower pool snack bar! We never had any problems at mealtimes - if you aren't keen on more continental style food, there was always a roast meat option in the evenings in addition to great salads and pasta, chips etc. Also, if you ask for wine with your meal, you get a whole bottle - which I think is unusual! The boulevard along the beach is lovely to walk along and the Plaza Del Duque shopping centre was nice to visit in the evenings - there's even a bar right in the middle where you can leave your menfolk to watch football while you hit the shops - perfect! Mind you - if you do go to that bar and ask for a gin and tonic you'll be given a goldfish bowl full!! We would definitely return to this hotel and in future I would try not to read reviews before going - it caused unnecessary worry on this occasion!
