Thank you Tom for your review, now where do we start with an answer to your review...... we do not agree we are expensive, let me take the pasty you had as an example.
The pasty is a genuine cornish pasty from Crantock in Cornwall, it has to be shipped over to Tenerife, we also have to pay an import tax on the pasty, we then cook it, serve it with a side salad or bisto gravy for a total cost to you of 4 pounds, this cost also includes7% igic tax, most restaurants add this on to the end of your final bill.
We are sure you could not get this pasty as cheap as this in england, we use english bread for our sandwiches with quality fillings and again a side salad, you can find places near us that cater for people who want 3 courses for 7.95 and do not mind inferior quality.
We are pleased you loved our cakes though.
thanks again

We were recommended harriets by a couple staying in our hotel and we weren't disappointed! The selection of tea and sandwiches r endless but the cakes OMG they are delicious. the welcome from the owner and staff was lovely the only fault was that the number of tables doesn't meet the number of people waiting to try the gorgeous food.

I have returned from Costa Adeje today, having frequented Harriet's approx 5 times in the last 2 weeks... Not only serving "proper" English tea in teapot etc, but Yorkshire tea - how fabulous. The cakes are to die for. I'm only sorry we never got to continue working our way through the menu.
I can highly recommend the Apple pie and Cheesecake.
My son says the Carrot Cake is the "best in the world".

Lovely surroundings. Always busy. Quite often waiting a short time for a table, but definitely worth the wait.
I hope to get back to Tenerife again next year and this will be high on my priority to visit again.

All the staff are extremely welcoming and very friendly. - Lovely place, lovely team.

We stayed in Costa Adeje for just 4 nights after a Thomson cruise, we went to Harriets twice and also ordered a takeaway picnic to take to the airport, the afternoon teas are fabulous, all homemade cakes.. the scones are gourgeous and the addition of the clotted cream made them even more perfect.

The owners and team work so hard to create such fantastic savouries and sweets, working long hours, we had to wait for a table on our second visit, but it was so worth the wait.

A little bit of England in the sun, tea served in teapots with a smile.

Very impressed my request for sandwiches with no butter to take to the airport was no problem, they were so welcome on the plane, far better than the processed food served on board.
