We visited the Dog and Bull without booking on a busy Sunday lunchtime. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating even though they were fully booked. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch, every dish was delicious and we were very impressed. This was a great find and I can't recommend the Dog and Bull highly enough.

We visited this pub on our way home from Chester. What a lovely find. Traditional but with a modern twist. Nicely spaced tables so you are not joining in other diners conversations. Candles were lit around the room giving it a nice welcoming feel. Two of our party had the "early bird " menu and it was very good value for money, a lovely main meal (my only niggle was the sauce was a little runny for my liking) and a yummy dessert. All the meals were tasty and of good quality. We highly recommend this pub and wish it was closer to home.

We found this pub by accident while touring in north Shropshire. We are very glad we did. Excellent food at a reasonable price served by friendly staff. What more could a customer ask for?
