This resort is very intimate and unique in its home-made style. We stayed for two nights in one of the original villas that were decorated with old, beautiful wood. The room was clean but the bathroom was quite rusty (Maybe that's the design). There are lots of nice Thai trees in this resort, surrounding many antique artifacts. The beach is peppered with local tourists, but not too many, just the right amount that you won't feel so isolated. The staff members are very polite and attentive, especially the resort manager who will help carry your luggages. The resort has a nearby restaurant with delicious, moderately priced food. The resort owner is an aging television actor who strides by to greet you over dinner.
However, I have to say that the breakfast is terrible - cold boiled rice or cheap supermarket sausage and bread. Otherwise, this resort is a hidden gem.More
