There is not many places to stay around Pua.
All the rooms are on a steep banking. Would only stay in higher rooms on banking.
The older rooms feel damp and smell.
If staying here, check out room 1st.
Breakfast is very limited and don't have any knivies to spread butter on your toast!
Did not stay for dinner.
There would be good views of the mountains from the restaurant, but could not see because of the smog from all the slash and burn happening at minute in Northern Thailand.
All National Parks are worth visiting, great journey to get to them. Also took the kids to Sira Phet Waterfall to get some relief from the heat. There are several pools for swimming, shallow in most places and can hire an inner tube for the kids. You can also eat here as well.
