One of the rare worth seeing sights easily reachable via car around Nagpur. Definitely worth a day trip. The temple area is situated on a hill with an amazing view over Ramtek. Many little shops are to find in front of the temple. Inside and outside of the temple area monkeys have found a place to live. Be aware of your belongings! Those monkey can be aggressive. During the time of my visit, the temple has been renovated. Overall the area is nicely maintained, in comparison to many other places. The nearby Khindsi Lake might be a good place for some water fun and food after seeing the temple.

One must climb & walk to the temple to really enjoy the visit. It is an ancient well-recognized monument and the place where Shri Ram Visited, if you believe in mythology. You will certainly feel peaceful. Monkeys are no problem if you are happy to feed them.
