A good hotel to stay . I checked in at 3:30 am but had no problem with the service. The property is new and well maintained .The room was neat and clean , with all the amenities.Their was a good variety in the buffet breakfast and the food was also nice. The staff was also very courteous and helpful. Only the room stay price should have been a little less.

I stayed at the Radisson Blue for business. The complimentary airport pickup was efficient. A new property, the lobby was gleaming with marble floors and chandeliers. I was upgraded to a business floor, where the room was sleek, comfortable, and well-lit with excellent high speed internet and a nice chaise lounge adjacent to a large and clean window. Curtains were good blackout quality, and easy to open and close. The bathroom fixtures were modern and towels were clean and plush.

Hotel staff proved their mettle when I shared some areas which needed addressing the first morning: extremely brown water in the tub, a broken shower hose, tables which needed much better cleaning, and some key spots missed by housekeeping in their vacuuming and dusting routine (ie. snack crumbs at the end of the bed and clear dusting gaps). Staff asked if I wanted to change rooms (not necessary, but thanks anyway), took the matter in hand, and by the time I returned to the room in the evening, it was sparkling and just about everything had been fixed. Very impressive and indicative of good training.

Hotel management might want to ensure sufficient front desk staffing based on flight timings, and could easily coordinate this based on their airport pickup and dropoff bookings. The location of the hotel, however -- about 10 minutes from the airport -- is very convenient, and the small Nagpur airport is reasonably efficient, too, so even a small delay didn't matter terribly much upon departure.

I was similarly impressed with dining room staff who were able to accommodate a colleague with a food allergy, They understood what was at stake and truly bent over backwards with a specially prepared meal. Again, impressive not only because of good training, but real personal attention which came from the heart.

The Radisson Blu Nagpur is situated very close to the airport (as is the city in general) and is roughly about 10 minutes away. The nice thing is that the hotel provides free round trip airport transfers to all guests, just make sure you call prior to arrival. It isnt very obvious that free transfers are available via the hotel site, so definitely call them to arrange it.

The hotel is new, about 6 months or so. The lobby is nice with massive sprawling chandeliers. The main entrance of the hotel is off a side road on the back end, which is not known to most cab and rickshaw drivers. It also makes it a bit difficult to actually get a cab or rickshaw if you are trying to go somewhere.

The front desk here in general tends to be slow. If you are in a rush, you will definitely be annoyed. Check in's usually happen in chunks depending on flight arrivals so it gets busy all at once, and then nothing. There is no elite check in desk, and during the rush I never noticed more than 2 folks at the check in desk. Non rush, there used to be a handful of folks.

Finished my check in, no upgrades given for being a gold member, no welcome amenity provided, and well no recognition in general. Really something hotels need to work on as it goes a long way. Was given a business class (yes, that is what they call it) room on the 3rd floor as that is what I had booked. Business class rooms come with 6 pm check out and access to the lounge, though the lounge is inoperational. You can however have cocktail hour at the bar from 6 to 8. Again, not something the staff tells you about, and I only found out about it after asking about the lounge for the 3rd time.

Something to note about the room....the are moderate in size and perfectly comfortable, but the rooms facing the road are much smaller than the same rooms that face the pool. You pay the same but get different things depending on which side of the building you wind up on. I stayed twice for 2 nights each, and got a room on both sides during both stays. Definitely ask for the pool facing side as the room is slightly bigger as is the bathroom and you also get a jacuzzi bath tub.

Breakfast here was always average. Breakfast was included in the restaurant (TCK) and I always felt like something was amiss.....like the spices were never given enough time to impart their flavors and were still raw. Because of that I was very hesitant to try the restaurant for lunch but considering that the other restaurants on the premises are not open for lunch and there is nothing within walking distance, that is where I wound up. Lunch was actually quite amazing. The buffet is very cheap at about Rs 499 when you consider most entree's are around Rs 399. The food was excellent with a lot of Indian options and a few Western. The dessert options were long and very very good. Def a good option for lunch.

Cocktail hour includes comped drinks for 2 hours as well as snacks. The snacks are sufficient to pass off as dinner and are quite filling. The pool area is small but rather nice and in my few days there I barely saw more than 2 people at a time at the pool.

The hotel is a great option in Nagpur, but sometimes the prices can be quite a lot for a city like Nagpur. This has the potential of being the best hotel in Nagpur, but until they can fix the small service and communication issues, and maybe address elite member benefits, it wont get there. For now, this is my go to hotel in Nagpur, but not because I want to stay here, rather because this is the only chain option in the city.

Right from the pick-up at the hotel to the various facilities at the hotel, everything was quite extraordinary. Of course, you come to expect a certain standard from Radisson and this hotel lived up to its name. I stayed for only one night as a business traveller and the hotel provided me complimentary breakfast for 2 days and dinner for 1 day. Usually, complimentary breakfast is provided for only 1 day and dinner is always charged. I had also requested for early check-in which the hotel was able to accommodate. The buffet menu options at both breakfast and dinner were various including continental and Indian. I specially enjoyed their several dessert preparations. The staff including the ones at the reception were courteous and friendly. The staff at the restaurant area made me feel welcome and really special. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anybody visiting Nagpur. The only negative was the fire alarm which broke out when somebody was smoking a cigarette at 11.45 in the night and all of us had to run down the steps in our night suits. The manager on the floor was unable to tell us what happened which kind of made me a bit irritated. But I would not let this incident affect the overall experience of the stay.

we had made the booking in this hotel for 1 night on the 11th Feb 2013 but could not reach on the fateful day as we met with an accident and asked for a cab from the hotel. and the story began form there...instead of understanding the gravity of the situation, the executive insisted that I provide my CC details so that they know I am not playing prank..I was with my wife and 2 daughter...why would I play dumb..?? then upon checking there was no extra bed though I asked for one...this after an accident and driving in taxi for more than 4 hours...on top the FO executive opens the wrong room with his master key only to find a guest was sleeping....jeez talks about respecting privacy!!!! upon checking out the FO suggested that I might have stolen 2 ashtrays as they were unable to find them in the room and did not even apologize when they found 3 instead of 2...at the restaurant the stewards were absolutely un-courteous and treated u like people who entered the hotel for the 1st time. I am for sure not going to recommend this hotel to anyone else...be careful when you put the "privacy" indicator it may not be respected as everyone seems to have the master keys...pathetic experience....

I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel and I am extremely happy that I chose this hotel. It is very close to the airport and hotel provides complimentary pick and drop which is very thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. Hotel staff is very helpful will go the extra length to make the stay comfortable. The buffet spread at breakfast and lunch offers a wide variety including local cuisine. Coffee shop in the lobby offers a very good cup of espresso. Highly recommended. Rooms are cosy, with large flat screen TV and comfortable bed. My only disappointment was with the shower as the water was not sufficiently hot. But this is a very minor point and does not mar the overall quality of stay.
