Spent three nights in May. Paid about £60/night because I booked at last minute. You can get a room cheaper if you book well in advance.
Reception was pleasant and welcoming. We asked to change our allocated room away from the road and this was done immediately with no fuss. (The road noise isn't bad, but the car park side is better.)
Rooms are what you expect from a budget hotel. Nothing to excite or complain about. Beds were a little hard for my liking.
There's a half hour of free wi-fi per day available and that was useful just to check emails. The receptionist kindly printed one off for me. Paid wi-fi is cheap at £3 a day.
Catering is in the Beefeater next door. Haven't been in one of these for years and found the staff friendly. The food was fine and reasonably priced. The hotel provides a cheap meal deal voucher but it isn't a particularly great deal. The standard menu is fine.
All in all a good experience. Everything was hassle free and the town of Milngavie with shops, restraurants etc is 5 mins walk away. It's worth a visit, even if you are not planning to walk the West Highland Way which is the reason most people visit the town and hotelMore
