Been here a few times over the years. Great easy to follow paths - covered three miles in just under an hour. Good signposting of the landmarks - thefcastle was particularly interesting and well maintained. Lots of friendly dog walkers on the way around. Good catering venues on site together with plenty space to bring your own picnic in the good weather.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. You are right, there are some fantastic walks around the park. If you fancy something different next time, come into the Park Office and we can give you a couple of walking maps. Both are circular routes, both about 5 miles, and both start and finnish at the Visitor Centre. Thanks again!

This is a wonderfu place to go for walking there is the castle the loch and lots of trailsto walk on. Or if you want a bite to eat and a drink there is a lovely restuarant and also a wee cafe to sit outside with your dog (weather permitting) where the cream scones are magic. it can be very busy at weekends with people walking their dogs and also a great playground for kids but still not too busy to move around in. They also have a nice shop to buy your garden stuff or other little things that you fancy, i have been here many times and never get tired of walking round.I rate this place very highly.

What a raving review, thank you!! Its such a special place, something for everyone and quite unique. We have over 600,000 visitors per year but with 700 acres to explore you can always find a quieter place to walk. And I agree, the cream scones from the Cafe are pretty fantastic.... too much of a temptation sometimes!

My husband and I visited here with our 2 half year old daughter. The first thing she saw was a horse in the courtyard and she was fair taken by it!
She played in the park, loved the flying fox and the woodland adventure.
We then went a walk where she had fun playing hide & seek and kicking the leaves.
We will definitely be back here!

Loved the eating establishment. Went on a Sunday which was unfortunately wet. Music promised in the garden went on despite this.
Plenty of walking and lots of people to talk to.
Staff in shop very helpful.
