“Excellent Cafe Fare”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

This cafe in the center of Milngavie is worth visiting. For a cafe they have a good rage of dishes and all are freshly cooked ad of very good quality. The only minor issue is that, there are no soft surfaces in the cafe and as a result it can get quite noisy even with relatively few people in. If not for that it wold have had an excellent rating. If you are walking the West Highland Way a visit would get you fueled up before you start.

I had a Spanish omelette today. It was quite superb and I thoroughly enjoyed it.. Probably better than any you will get in Spain!

“Bit bland”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

Decor was bland and uninviting. Very basically kitted out. No menus on table and staff ignored us for a good ten minutes. Coffees were fine. We chose not to stay for anything else. Not particularly enjoyable experience. Plenty of other cafes in Milngavie.

“Excellent food”

My friends and I are regulars at Cafe Alba and have been since it opened. We have probably at one time or other tried everything on the menu. Everything has been excellent.
